I purchased these Fire Blankets for added peace of mind in my kitchen and outside for my BBQ, and I’m really glad I did. I also purchased some as gifts for my family. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and simple to use in an emergency, per the product videos. The material feels durable and reliable, and I like that it can also be used for camping or in the car. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s reassuring to know it’s there just in case. Great product for anyone looking to boost home safety!

I haven't had to use this product personally but I feel safer knowing that I have them. I kept 2 for my home and gifted 2 to my daughter for her home. She had seen an advertisement about them and was getting ready to make her own purchase. I showed everyone in my home how to use them. We are prepared but hopefully we never have to use them.

2nd order, as we needed more for family and friends. These fire blankets are super easy to use, pull the velcro tabs at bottom (we have ours hanging on walls for easy access) and the blanket comes out easily. Throw blanket on fire. SO much easier than a fire extinguisher, that has a learning curve and under pressure at that. You can practice using these blankets and refold and put them back in the bag. If you practice using a fire extinquisher, you now have one with less pressure. We have them in house, garage, and in the glove box. Also very good price!!!

Got a few of these for gifts for friends with new homes. I’ve not tried them but I like the reassurance they bring as they are close by.

Got these a few weeks ago and can't really say if they are really good given that I haven't had to use them. I like the fact that this package includes 4 blankets for a reasonable price. I've got one in the kitchen (which beats finding and dealing with baking soda), another is obviously in the garage and yet another is in my car. The 4th unit I gave as a gift to my son. I feel more confident that I can deal with a fire mishap in all of these places which makes me happy.

Nice looking unit. It advertises that it's compatible with most dimmer switches. I bought a Leviton Decora Dimmer with Slide Bar and Rocker Switch, 15 Amp, DSL06-1LW. Installation went fine, but after about 20 minutes, the light started to strobe. Had to put the old switch back on.

My mother uses these as presents at gift exchanges. They always go over well with the men! Very practical. Mine is hanging in my kitchen. I've also read a tip to use them to wrap your Lithium Ion batteries when not in use.

It's essentially a bag with velcro and a pull string that lets you grab out a folded blanket like pad that's made of fiberglass. Smart. You can remove, re-fold easily, and put it back. It has a grommet to hang on your wall. I just hang it on a nail. I have one in the kitchen, and also in the garage. I love that if anything ever happened, there's no white powder to ruin all my stuff. I also like that I would trust my children to be able to operate it. You can actually practice with it (just a pretend fire, no need for a real one). With the white powder ones, you have to kinda just tell them how it works, and hope that will translate to knowing what to do in an emergency. With this, they can take out the blanket, touch it, look at it, pretend to toss it on a "fire", and become familiar with it when you buy it. I love the concept. I'll probably buy more over time, and already bought 1 as a gift.
