I cant imagine installing my new floor without this kit!
These tools made installing this floor MUCH easier! Dont get me wrong, the time spent on my knees was tough, but worth it. You will see in one of the photos, the black foam kneeling pad which saved my 69 year old knees. Note to seller - Include one of these thick foam matts in your kit! Or, at least bundle it!The tools that were in this kit are easy to use. It saved a lot of the mating edges of the luxury Vinyl Planks I installed. And after the install was complete, the tools are ready for other tasks. The dead blow hammer is especially useful for replacing paint and stain tops and nudging without scarring wood into place. Well constructed tools and easily a great value for the money!

Value for sure!
This is an essential tool if you are installing LVP or some similar floating floor. I wish the spacers didn't have ridges on them cause sometimes it causes them to get stuck...but other than that this is perfect! The value is surely there and the dead blow hammer is not too cheap either. I haven't used the tool for the special cuts but it is something I am sure will come in helpful for other things I do so it is nice to have around the house/workshop.

Very good tool set.
I had an older set I could not find so I ordered this set because of price and the same day delivery. It was very good. I would have given it 4-1/2 stars but does not look like I can.The hammer was a little lighter than I like but very work able and the contour gauge works but not good quality. I don’t see it lasting to long. But a have a couple so it’s not an issue for me. But for someone who is going to use this often you may want to invest in a better contour gauge. By try it first it may be useable for you.

All tools work as described. Use them properly.
Installed engineered hardwood floors with this (Mohawk) all the pieces worked as advertised. While they give you a bunch of spacers, I had to cut the number in half and use two per placement space to get the correct S.p.A. ing Mohawk wanted.Hammer is good, held up and even busted my thumb. ( it was my fault).Contour gauge works, although it’s plastic.. and I was skeptical… but it held up, and still as good as new. Offset metal bar is stron, doesn’t bend! Flat plastic panel knocker is good, watch which side you put down on the flooring or you could damage the flooring.I’m a total novice at flooring….but you wouldn’t know that to look at it. Use these tools right and your floor will come out awesome too!

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. Just got this a few days ago I have not used it to be honest. It wasn’t very expensive and it looks like it won’t do the job. The gauge thing to do around edges and corners seems a little cheap and doesn’t move very easily other than that seems good I’ll let you know how it goes after the job

A MUST HAVE. GAME CHANGER!
Used on Luxury Vinyl Plank install. When I first started my overly ambitious project of changing the flooring in 4 rooms I had made my own block out of a chunk of wood and used a garden kneeling pad. Obviously not ideal, but the worst part was the struggle to tightly close the gap between planks as I was laying them which was taking the most time and mega frustrating. Finding this kit online I figured it was worth a try.ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER. The tool they include in the kit to tighten the gap fits right on one plank and is wide and you just tap it into place, no struggling to beat it into submission over and over. That tool is the gem of the whole kit.The knee pads are good and are saving my knees from true sorrow. The mallet is more streamline that the hammer I was using and I like that each end is a different material. The tap block, if you need it is hard and notched so you don't damage the joining lip of the plank which will ruin the plank. And finally there is a tool that when pushed into an irregular edge or area will conform to that shape that you can then transfer to the plank and cut accurately. Love, love, love this kit. My only regret is that I did not have this when I first started, I'm sure I would have been much further along with the project.

It works Ok
I had a small project to do and therefore this little kit worked Ok. I found the spacers to be useless and needed to buy others that would stay where I put them (I left the base-molding in place; the spacers tended to buckle under when any pressure came up against them). If I had more than 70 sq ft of flooring to install, I would want a bigger & better tapping block and a stouter pry bar. I got the job done, but the kit was "meh".
