Best Quality - Worth the Price
Don't let those $80 weight blankets fool you! I got this one a while back when it was rare to have a weight blanket and I am glad I chose this one. I got my husband and son weight blankets from Sharper Image and they suck! The sand or whatever it is in this blanket is so fine and evenly dispersed compared to those clunky weight balls in the Sharper Image ones... Get This Blanket! You wont regret it! Also the material is so silky smooth and not hot! I would buy again and again for sure!

Great for me, decent value
It's weird getting used to it at first. But it's very comfortable. I use a Fitbit to track my sleep and I've noticed a decrease in waking up throughout the night. I can also feel like I'm sleeping slightly better. It doesn't get too warm and I'd very soft.I could see how a weighted blanket isn't for everyone, but I it's great for me. This one's more expensive than others, but seems to be great quality and if I sleep even a little better each night, it's worth it.

Not bad, but material isn't as soft as id hoped
I will preface by saying this is the first weighted blanket I've purchased/owned/used.Pros- weight seems to be distributed well with the weight material being sewn in individual pouches.- The 18lb blanket does feel nice, I would equate the weight to being like 3-4 heavy woven quilts.- Doesn't seem to get too hot. I was worried that it would be too warm but doesn't seem to get significantly warmer than my normal comforter.Cons- This blanket feels a little small. I'm a large guy and a side sleeper, and i found its pretty easy for the blanket to slide due to the weight of it. I think a larger blanket would solve that- The material is also not great in my opinion. The images looked as though it was very soft to the touch, but in reality it feels slightly synthetic plastic like the outside of a sleeping bag. Not a fan of it touching my skin, but is easy enough to solve with a sheet under it.Notes:- Have only had a few days so I cant speak to its durability. I've heard of the pouches that hold the weights ripping and allowing the weight to shift, but haven't had it long enough to know.- The blanket has an interesting thermal property. Im assuming because the weight is glass, it takes a while to warm up when you get in. So I find the blanket is very cool for the first 20 mins or so when I get in, which will be nice in the summer. However, being the winter now its a bit annoying.

Great blanket!
I’ve had the Luxome integrated, grey, bamboo, 60”x80” blanket for about a month now and made the following observations: Initially, it slept a little warm but I changed to some lighter sleepwear and turned the ceiling fan up a notch and It’s perfect now. Come winter, I may have change back. Also, I sleep with the blanket above my top sheet so it will stay clean longer. The blanket weights about 18 pounds which is irrelevant because the beads are sewn into 6” square pockets that do not move around (at least not yet) so the only weight on you is from the area of the blanket you use. I read somewhere that they put some kind of filling inside the pockets to keep the beads from moving and according to the blanket tag it is polyester fiber batting. Anyway, it works. This size blanket fits perfectly on a queen-size mattress with no overhang so there is no pulling on you from the edge of the bed. (I sleep alone so this size is perfect for me but according to the Luxome website, it is intended for individual use and couples should look at the largest size.) I also like the fact that it doesn’t have a removeable duvet to contend with and it is machine washable. Haven’t had to do that yet but I think our machine can handle it.I noticed something else on the company website: Their return policy is not exactly as reflected on Amazon. They do have a 30-day return policy but where Amazon says “full refund”, Luxome states that they will pay for shipping only in the event of a defect. If you just changed your mind, you pay for shipping. Also, they state they are a USA company, which I have not been able to verify but these blankets are made in China, in case you care. Finally, this blanket cost more than most of the ones I reviewed but I’m sleeping very well beneath it which makes it worth every penny to me. Hope this helps.

Best weighted blanket
I really have to say that this product is a standout from many perspectives. It is designed and built very well. The attention to detail is fantastic. The weight distribution of the fill that they use is like no other and guarantees a very restful night of sleep. The quality and comfort of the outer shell is excellent. Nothing but top quality materials.I have compare this to other models in similar price ranges and feel that this is truly a bargain for what you get and how well it performs in actual use.Buy with confidence
