Only got 1 roll
It’s advertised as two rolls. I only received 1. I was extremely busy, so therefore didn’t have time to contact Amazon.PROS: The actual cling wrap pleasantly surprised me. It clung very well! I’ve used it a few times and it didn’t disintegrate on my or rip in unwanted places. I have not tested it against actual wet foods. So, can’t speak to that.CONS: besides the fact that I was missing a roll, it’s hard as heck to cut to size because the roll keeps popping out. It’s amazing how hard it is to rip and cut with the slider just because the roll won’t stay still! lolAll in all, if I was sent the second roll like advertised, I’d definitely buy it again. I’ll probably try again to see if that second roll actually comes. Then Jerry Rigg something to make the roll stay in so I can properly use the glider cutter thingamabob. Would’ve gotten a 4 star if I’d have gotten the proper amount of product.

Very clingy…but the good kind
I play the saran ball game for the holidays and always feel guilty about how much saran we use. This costs a lot more but it works the same and doesn’t ruin the earth as much so that brings me joy. Highly recommend!

Stick to itself really well.
I was excited to buy this, as I use plastic wrap frequently and I am not a big fan of single use plastics - which is what plastic wrap is - and this is compostable. Compostable plastic wrap, yes please. After receiving the wrap, I opened it and tried to start the roll. It was incredibly difficult to start as this stuff sticks to itself like crazy glue. Furthermore, the roll doesn't like rolling around in the box, it seems quite tight. Once you get the roll started, the frustration continues. When you pull on the plastic wrap it is more likely to tear than pull out, again, the roll that doesn't like rolling. If you tear it and you need to start the roll again, pray that you didn't press in the ends to keep the roll from coming out of the box, because then you have a roll that won't come out and also will not roll to help you along. After these initial setbacks that had me so frustrated that I wanted to throw the whole thing into the garbage, I decided to persevere. And I am glad I did. I was very happy to see that the film comes with a sliding cutter, instead of the jagged metal piece usually stuck to the inside of the box and tears and mangles your film into a useless lump of plastic. The sliding cutter works very well, especially if the film is under some tension when sliding it. Getting the film out of the box is still a bit of a challenge but I found that if you open the box, and pull the film straight up, it comes out very well. I think that if they made the box a couple of millimetres bigger in every direction, this issue would not be an issue. How does it stick to things? Very well. I cover food dishes with it and it holds and stretches very well. Better in fact than some of the big commercial brands. Like other brands, it does not stick to plastic containers at all, but anything glasslike it's great..Does it compost? I don't know. I don't have a composter. It says on the box it is certified compostable. I really hope it does, as this is a great idea whose time is long overdue. I think the price on this is a bit high, and would really like to see it come down. If more people buy in, I think it might.

Not bad
Really like that it is composable, but the plastic is very thin and lots of static. Like the little cutter idea, but find difficult at times to cut the plastic. Will not purchase again.

Just like plastic but without the plastic
This works exactly like plastic but without the plastic. It clings well to my dishes & keeps food fresh for the same amount of time as plastic.

Great product but expensive
This compostable cling wrap works as well as regular plastic wrap. I like that it’s made from plant starch rather than being a non-recyclable plastic product and that it can go in our compost bin. It’s a bit fiddly to work with but it’s worth the effort.I find it unfortunate that the price is not competitive with regular plastic wrap. People who can afford it won’t mind paying the premium price, but there are more budget-friendly options for food storage, so I’d like to see this at a more affordable price.
