MUJI 0.38mm Gel Ink Pen Various (DIY Version) (Blue)

This pen is just like its brother the fountain pen. It's smooth, perfectly made, and unassuming. Exactly my style.I picked up some really cheap notebooks on holiday, and the paper bleeds and is cheap quality so I needed a pen that can write nicely on it and doesn't bleed (or show through too much when you turn the page and muddies your writing on the other side).This is perfect. A really good pen that copes with my fast writing, pinpoint precision which is great as I have quite small, curly writing. Good vivid ink too.I waited a while for it to arrive, but it was worth it! Don't expect it to arrive within two weeks.

I didn't mind paying a small bit extra than I usually do for these pens, especially as I was in desperate need of them after my local Muji store was out-of-stock for a few months consecutively. Delighted with the goods. I found postage to be extremely good value for money. Hands down the best and quickest postage from Hong Konh that I've ever received. For any first-time buyers of these pens I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. With this nib size (0.38) the ink lasts for weeks on end (I can get a good 3+ weeks of school work, including essays). Perfect pens for me (a leftie) as ink is rapid-dry and never smudges. Also comfortable to hold for long periods of time.

It works great as a pen. It has great ink which is VERY inky which means you literally have to wait a day to highlight. However where i really see this pen is in the body, it has a round body which is kind of uncomfortable to hold and it has no grip. Other than that it is an amazing pen.

Super smooth writing, and generally streak-free when highlighting (though when using water based highlighters like mildliners I would recommend allowing some time to dry first) doesn’t take too long to dry, and also arrived 5 days early! The package also came with an adorable little origami crane- overall a great product that I would recommend.

the ink is nice and it is thin but it’s kinda scratchy on the paper. It’s a bit hard to write with and it makes my writing ugly

Excellent product, just as expected. Took a good few weeks to come but that was also expected as shipping from Japan. A nice pen.

A great pen and I love the small size. Didn’t realise the top can be unscrewed so when it was loose and I was writing, I thought there was a problem with the pen. But my mistake, I just tightened the top back up!

Got 1 of these pens as i wanted to see what all the fuss is about in the stationary addict community and i can see it now. It is thinner than most pens and flows very smoothly which makes my handwriting look a lot neater. I will defo be getting more of these.
