This is just what I needed. It is LOUD just as stated in the listing. There are two modes, a yelp and a steady siren sound. I am pairing this with some Govee vibrations sensors and one of their smart plugs and protecting our basement windows from intruders. I have tested the siren out and found that the yelp is the best option. I will say that I had to test it when no one was home because it was so loud. If you are looking for a DIY siren then this is the one to get. Very economical.

Good replacement for old siren that lasted 20+ years. Looks to be the same design. The mounting bracket design could be improved, but was easy to install. To waterproof your connections, I recommend using something like the K1 Telephone Wire Splice Connector Waterproof Uy Gel Filled Wire Button Connector Orange Clear Phone Splice Network Cable Terminals available on Amazon. It works like it should. Far cheaper toDIY if you can than calling the alarm system company to make a repair and use the same type of product.
