It is nice that this Gua Sha has an CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY card to support the claim about it being true natural jade.. On the other hand, The Amazon product description says: Material Jade, Metal, Quartz, Stone. The Q&A section says "This jade Gua Sha is made of 100% authentic aventurine jade". This is odd to me, because aventurine and jade are two different things.. Saying aventurine jade is like saying it's made of "quartz jade"Nephrite jade originates from China, Brazil, Russia, and the United States. Jade is the gemstone name given for two diverse mineral structures, Nephrite and Jadeite. Aventurine is a type of Quartz/Chalcedony, which contains little-included chips or scales that give it a glossy impact. Aventurines are normally found in India, Brazil, Austria, Russia and Tanzania.So to me, despite the product saying certified natural authentic jade, there is no mention of Nephrite or Jadeite, but there is mention of quartz and aventurine. So it seems there are some word games being played here with this product.. Also the price point seems pretty low for something of this weight made from real jade.Another point: My authenticity card is identical to the others shown in the reviews, so they are not unique by serial number of the individual stone. Just saying. Also it says "Approx weight" and then gives the weight down to the hundredth of a gram (47.85), (which is bizarre to me as an engineer). And again, the other cards show the exact same weight. I didn't weigh mine yet but I'm pretty sure these aren't all hand made to that level of precision. Also the card says it was sourced in South Africa, not Brazil, which is another inconsistency.I got this for my wife who is a traditional Chinese woman and she is very happy about it, despite whether it is jade or aventurine. Then she explained what "Gua Sha" actually means and how intense the treatments are, including on ME, and now I'm a bit nervous.. ;-)Anyway, as a product, I think it is a decent value, and my rating is just based on my wavering suspicion about whether the word Jade is being used loosely here.

This is a nice jade colored Gua Sha and it came very nicely packaged. It's a pretty standard Gua Sha and works as intended. The description says that it is 100% jade but is made from Aventurine & Jade which are two different stones so not sure how it can be 100% jade given that fact. Other than not sure of the actual authenticity it's a pretty nice Gua Sha for a pretty decent price

This jade face sculpting tool is very nice. It feels like it's real jade, but I'm not an expert either. It feels like it's a good quality. It feels really nice on the face. I like it, give it a try for yourself.

The media could not be loaded.  This is beautifully packaged and would make a nice gift for someone.The gua sha is cut nicely to form perfectly to my jawline and other areas of my face. It's very smooth.It comes with a certificate of authenticity, however, I'm not convinced it's real jade and maybe it's aventurine instead, as it looks and feels like aventurine that I have and it's not very cool to the touch at all like my other jade toolsAll of that aside, since I'm no expert, it's a very nice gua sha that's beautifully packaged at a decent price.

This is one of the nicest facial tools I own! It's such high quality and a nice weight in your hand. It's also cold right out of the box! The little jade velvet bag that comes with it is perfect for storing it. My daughter had been wanting one of these for a while and she absolutely loves it for face sculpting and improving her skin.This gua sha was a great deal at $12 when I ordered it, but at $8 (price at time of this review) it's a steal!

This is without a doubt the most beautiful gua sha that I own. It's the most beautiful shade of green, cold to the touch and definitely stone. It came in a very nice box with a magnetic clasp and was very well packaged. I noticed other people complaining of a "plastic" smell. That's not plastic, it's the smell of the packing foam that holds it in place within the box. It is a pretty terrible smell but it's not plastic and it's not the gua sha itself that smells, though the scent may cling to it for a while (didn't affect mine; however). In the box was the gua sha, a certificate of authenticity, and a green, velvety bag to keep it in. The bag at the very least held the scent of the foam but after leaving them both to sit out for a few hours (maybe 8) the scent had faded completely. This is a LOVELY gua sha and I appreciate the bag to keep it in.

I loved the pouch & even the box it came in. This is very giftable! It works well & is comfortable in your hand.

I have been wanting to try a gau sha for so long and finally got one!
