Not very waterproof but did what we needed it to do, used as extra space for camping stuff

Ordered this for my first family holiday and despite the bag being loaded, strapped to my car and the zips locked adequately the bar split open on the motorway. Causing me to have to pull over with no hard shoulder with my 3 month old baby in the car, and my 2 year old niece. I lost items on the motorway and had to just watch as they were damaged by other drivers as we had no way of retrieving them (quite expensive items as-well, a pair of ugg slippers, Levi jacket and a north face jacket being just 3 I can name) obviously not going to be reimbursed for this. What a traumatic experience for my first long journey with my baby. So if you want a roof bag that is reliable and going to actually make the trip avoid this one at all costs. Worst part was when the bag split I didn’t have room in my car due to having 2 baby’s buggy and travel cot in the boot to place the items from the bag into my car, we were then stood in the side of the motorway trying to figure out how we were going to make the rest of our journey home (glad we had another car going to the holiday with us so we didn’t have to use this on the way there) but meant that I was stranded on the side of a motorway with two young children trying to figure out what to do as no one could come and help me. So grateful I wasn’t alone and my partner was with me and he was able to fashion a way to keep the tear closed to get us back home. We then had to come off the motorway to stop and sort it out properly and checked what we had lost and my baby’s first blanket was in there, we then continued our journey off the motorway to ensure that should we have any more problems we weren’t left on the motorway again. This then made our journey home twice as long. Absolute joke.

This roofbag is not waterproof, came apart in seam after first use and reflective sticker came off after first use too… zip is very thin and very hard to close… not possible to close if roofbag is full… it needs to be 3/4 full to be able to close it otherwise the zip will fail

I bought this car roof bag under the impression that it was large enough to store my camping equiptment and !!WATERPROOF!!... How wrong was I in assuming this considering they have put this in the description write.up.As soon as I recieved this, I immediately thought how poorly this product is made. The tassles was already hanging by a thread and I hadn't even touched it yet!. Considering I need it the day after, I decided to sew the tassles and just give it a go, I loaded the bag with the camping equiptment which by the way wasn't heavy and didn't move around inside as it was bedding and little things such as brwvilleaker and egg boiler a travel kettle etc etc. I even strapped it down with elasticated straps as I didn't trust the product in the slightest. We set off and It started to rain....We gor to the campsite which was only 1 hrs drive and the bag had ripped along the seems and everything inside was wet through including my electrical items.In fact the only thing that survived was the stitching I did before we set off.Absolute joke, I'll be pushing for a refund just out of principle.STAY AWAY... STAY AWAY.....STAY AWAY.

Bought primarily for storing seat cushions, which it is well suited for. Quite light weight, and not sure it would stand hard use or withstand wet weather too well

I purchased this as it said you didn't need a roof rack or roof bars .This item is poorly made and didn't survive a 300 mile trip, the stitching started to give way on the trip down, we ended up having to leave it and make alternative arrangements to get some of our camping gear back home
