It’s not “Solid Surface” unless you consider plastic a solid surface. I also had to modify the brackets with a rotary tool to make the grooves deeper. Without doing this, the shelf wasn’t level.All in all this will serve its purpose but the quality along with brackets I don’t need to be modified would’ve been nice.

It fit well but like many things today; instructions were vague. Finally figured it out and as I showed above, it does work well and fit!

It's a plastic shelf. There's nothing special or fancy about this shelf. It attaches to the grill and folds out of the way when not in use. Because it's just a piece of plastic, the MSRP is fairly high. However, it holds things, which is its only function.

was pretty easy to install, kind of a pain to prop up while cooking but I was sick and tired and old wood shelf that needed constant sanding and varnishing every year

Easy to install. I have not used the shelf yet, but it appears to be steady.

This is great! The tray that came with our grill was wooden slats and has been repaired many times. This tray is easy to install, easy to lift and lower and sturdy to hold my tray of food for BBQ.

Very happy. I like this better than old wood shelf that eventually rotted away after many years of service. The cup holders are a handy feature.
