I bought these for my little nephews to color on cookies, and they didn't disappoint. I did find that the had an easier time with the longer point, as it seemed to have more ink in it for scribbling and getting a darker line. I had thought the short tip would be better for them but this turned out not to be the case. I like the short tip myself for precision drawing, but for littles that just want to see a lot of color the long tip was best. The 5 year old was able to trace around the cookies, and the 2 year old was able to scribble. The 5 year old also reports that you can color on sprinkles. Definitely fun to have on hand to keep littles occupied for a bit. I love the idea of decorating eggs with them too! I don't think they will last very long in the hands of 2 toddlers, but it's a very cute thing that we can do together.

The definitely work best on things like royal icing that has fully set (aka: a pretty solid base) since they are more of a marker than a paint. I’m not sure I would want to try them on cakes or macaroons (as shown in the listing), especially on more delicate ones but they do work well on cookies and are a lot of fun to be creative with. They dry pretty quickly which helps limit mess and smearing so that was nice as well.

I'm not a professional, I don't do immaculate cookie decorating. I got these for my young daughter and her friends to play around with for fun. She decorates cookies, pancakes, and things like that. She likes that there are two tips on each one, so she can make it a fine line or color in. We don't notice a flavor left by the pens & they didn't stain our tongue. All of the markers work, there weren't any duds.

This came without the red, which is basically why I bought it, and is missing one black also. I just learned it can’t be replaced because it’s not eligible for returns. Do not recommend. Also, there is hardly any pigment provided by the ones I did receive.

These edible decorating pens are great for decorating flat surfaces. You definitely need a flat cookie, solid egg or other solid surface for best results. The colors are nice and the value is good!

ich habe sie für die Weihnachtsbäckerei gekauft, ein normaler "trockener" Butterplätzchenteig, ohne Zuckerguß und muss sagen: das Ergebnis ist besser als ich es erhofft habe!große Flächen sind etwas schwierig zu bemalen, das liegt aber einfach an der Plätzchenstruktur: hier lösen sich einfach kleinste Partikel. Aber ganz ehrlich: Ich finde sie sehen super aus und würde es jedem guten Gewissens empfehlen und auch selbst wieder so machen :)

Man kann nicht so dekorieren und schreiben wie mit anderen Lebensmittel farben. Faser ist viel zu dünn. Schade hab mir für diesen Preis etwas mehr versprochen.
