Holds little bits to paint by hand or with the airbrush. The arms fit inside the base when not in use. It has plastic covers on the clamp jaws which can be removed if required

Very useful item - a bit pricey.

Good idea, executed well. The clamps are attached to their sticks well, and the sticks are easy to put in the holes in the base plate. Really useful when trying to paint small decorations without smudging the paint trying to hold it, or knocking it over with your paintbrush.

These are really useful for painting small dollhouse pieces - if you're careful with how you clamp things, it allows you to get to pretty much all angles without getting paint all over your fingers!The pieces can then dry in the clamps without sticking to the surface, and once dry you can unclamp them and touch up where necessary.Really useful!

After spending many years airbrushing Tamiya model cars & motorcycles I finally grabbed a painting stand from Tamiya ... I use this for the main bodies so I needed an alternative to be able to hold the small parts that needed doing at the same time as the body using the same colour. I picked this up & it is a great addition to the painting table...It basically consists of a black box that has foam inside & lots of holes on the top. You get 26 holders that are basically a stick with an alligator clip on the end. This pushes through one of the holes & into the foam that keeps it held firmly. You either attach the item before doing this or after .. Your choice !The item is then held securely while you airbrush away to your hearts content... Or you can hold the clip stick while you airbrush the item & then stick it into the hole to dry being kept safe & with no way of getting in contact with anything else .... I hate it when that happens !! Grrrr !So if you are into painting or detailing anything like model cars / bikes / figurines e.t.c then grab one now .. You won't know how you managed before !!Hope this helps ....

With a lot of the best ideas in life it's usually the simplest ones that work best, over the years I've made makeshift clamps and stands for painting and gluing small models, car parts and soldering PCBs, they usually worked but were a make do solution at best. This little set would of been ideal and is exactly what I'd of wanted for that purpose, lots of flexible clamps and a base that allows multiple clamps to be mounted in it.The individual clamps/rods allow you to hold smaller pieces while painting and you can hold the rod without getting paint on your hands while still being able to turn the workpiece around to get full coverage and placing back in the base for drying. Yes the base is a little lightweight for larger pieces but easily fixed with a couple of clamps to hold it down to a table so not a huge issue. The base box also doubles as a handy storage for the clamps when not in use keeping everything nice and tidy.I think this is a well made little kit that will be a great helping hand for modellers and anyone that tinkers with electronics as a hobby, versatile little stand for multiple uses.

Very good quality clamps and base stand built to last.I am new to airbrush painting so I am no expert I have been using this for almost two months now and so far I have had no issues. The clamps are strong and have been able to support what I have been painting with ease.I like the fact you can adjust the position of the clamps using the different holes in the base stand which is very useful and means you can have extra support if it is a heavier itemOverall I am happy with this product and would recommend it.
