Great for my EV charging situation
I recently bought a Tesla and had to find solutions for charging at home. The mobile charger that Tesla sells came with two connectors (one for regular house hold 110V and a 14-50 connector). The dryer outlet I have at home is a 14-30, so I figured this converter is probably the cheapest solution for my situation. And thankfully it worked great! Granted I have to lower the maximum charging amperage down to 24A and I have to unplug the dryer when I use it. However, I do not need 220V charging everyday and when I need it, it's vastly faster compared to the 110V connector. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Convenient handle for plugging and unplugging. Works well adating from one plug to another. Economical.

Feels cheap, I’d avoid.
Feels cheap. I would risk using it with the amount of amps an electric car is going to draw.It’s not UL listed.

Very sturdy
I bought this to use as an adapter for my EV so I could plug into a dryer outlet. Important: because the car and EVSE will think that it is plugged into a 50A outlet, it will incorrectly think it can pull up to 50A of current, but this will not be the case when using this adapter, so it is important to set your EVSE and/or vehicle current limit to 30A or lower so as to avoid tripping the breaker and/or causing a fire risk.Other than that precaution, this item works very well.

Very well made
So far this adapter has held up well. It's very well made and quite durable. The prongs and receiver hold tightly and I've had no issues with connection coming loose. I don't know the recommendations for long term use but this seems like a good alternative to swapping outlets or appliance plugs.

Works great for Tesla
I got this to keep with my Tesla mobile charger. It works to adapt a 30A 14-30 outlet to the plug on the tesla mobile charger (14-50). The cable is very thick and robust. It's pretty bulky but it really needs to be to handle high current without over heating. It's connects snugly and all of the materials seem to be high quality. Would highly recommend for a Tesla owner!
