This is a small table-top knock box, not a lot to be said on that front. The bar is a round rubber-coated one that sits tightly in the provided slot and doesn't turn itself so you will need to give it a bit of a rotation when you empty the box to even up wear. The box isn't large enough to knock the bar with the portafilter handle, it'll have to be straight across the basket, but it is a compact knock-box so that's not a surprise.Overall, no real downsides or upsides, perfectly good enough for the job of dealing with the home barista's needs.

Misazy Coffee Knock Box is an unusual knock box. In a world of round or square boxes its hexagonal; and has a ribbed pattern on the outside. The base of the bin has a grippy rubbery ring that holds it in place. It is compact and possibly better suited to smaller portafilters as the bar makes me knock on the portafilter rather than the handle. With my 58mm portafilter the design breaks the puck and makes a bit of a spray mess. This mess is common with smaller knock boxes. The bin stores about 10 double shots of espresso before it needs emptying. It’s easy to clean; rinse under the tap gets rid of the last bits of coffee. The knock bar needs a wipe.
