Tree of Life Stash Box Combo - Full Size Bamboo box grinder and jar - Engraved Wood Stash Box (Tree of Life)

Just got my, "Stash" , box today. When I ordered this , I expected that it would just be a cheap little box and the main items that I would be paying for were the glass jar and grinder. What a pleasant surprise though. Once I felt the weight of this small unopened box , I knew it was going to be nice. From the smooth finish of the wood with a honey stain to it or the bronze hardware that comes with keys to safely lock the "Stash" away, it feels like a timeless addition that helps to subtract the negative feelings of my "Stash" being seen or mishap'd upon by my kids . Absolutely love it! The grinder is smooth spinning and each compartment opens with ease. I have seen grinders of this sort sale for $50 or more at smoke shops here. That alone is worth more than what I have paid for this and all of the extra is a bonus. The little jar is nicely tinted for further concealment use and there is a reusable, removable plastic freshness lid underneath the main one . Once again! Pleasantly surprised and happy with this purchase.

This looks like a child made this at camp!!! The metal part that holds the lock is bent where you can barely open or close it! This looks NOTHING like what is pictured and isn’t even listed as anything from Swag gear!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!! The top of the box is a damn STICKER to make it look like wood, and nothing in it is what was pictured!!

Absolutely thrilled with this product and the seller! When the box arrived, something was wrong with it but this great seller replaced it within days adding extras in the new box and never asked me to return a thing! Awesome!!! For what you get, this product is a bargain.Box: It's a box. The construction is fine, doesn't feel cheap or anything. The only thing I dislike is that when you open it up, there's a pretty obnoxious 'SWAG' insignia. I thought it was just a sticker from the pictures, but no they actually painted it on, haha. Not a huge complaint, just makes me giggle every time I open the box.Grinder: I was actually super impressed with the grinder. The grinder is made with products that feel premium and not cheap at all. For a grinder that came in a bundle, I'm super impressed.Smell-Proof Tube: It's not TOTALLY smell proof, but it does the job well enough. Once again, doesn't feel cheap, and it's a cool way to store your... "herbs and spices."

Overall, OVERPRICED products.GRINDER - There was a lot of sayings about, but I did not find anything excited, it’s regular. Also has a strange stains on the lid, and welding spot on the bottom. Only like the grinder’s package.STASH JAR - just a glass jar with cheap plastic lid.ROLLING TRAY - so small and cheap plastic as well, also has a bent.STASH BOX - It’s ok, I had an experience with those kind of wooden “bamboo” boxes, they burst along the fiber, but this box looks sturdy. Inside material cheap.PACKAGE - it seems that stash box a bit bigger that a package it won’t fit properly.Anyway, overall it’s overpriced not worth for 40$ for sure, maybe 25$, 30$ maximum.

Probably one of the lowest quality products I bought from Amazon. Especially for this price tag. I bought this as a gift. When I open the box to check if everything’s okay, the tray that comes with the product was scratched from the keys that come with the package. They didn’t even take enough care to package it so their products are okay, let alone the actual quality. The tray is made out over very thin metal with essentially paint overt it, and proceeds to chip off where the scratches are. I will be returning this and seeing if I’m able to find a nice gift for my friend in time for Christmas.

the "lock" broke in about a week from completely normal use... just locking and unlocking it, no banging or dropping. I tried putting the mechanism back together but having it disassembled in front of me only served to further convince me that the whole locking mechanism is completely worthless. Honestly it would have been better if they just put on a hook and a metal flap and had you buy your own 5 dollar lock, would have lasted longer.With all that said, however, the rest of the kit is dope as hell. The box itself is of a reasonably nice quality (obviously ignoring the locking mechanism), including the design of the tree. The insert that keeps the grinder and smell-proof jar in place is very nice for keeping things organized and preventing banging when moving it around. Speaking of which, the smell-proof jar works great; one tip i would give you though is to make sure you don't accidentally smush bits of herb on the threading or top rim when you close it... that will lead to some smell leaking out, but as long as you make sure to get all your Buddha fully inside the jar you won't have a problem. The grinder works about as well as any other I've ever used, grinding action is smooth as butter and the holes are large enough that almost every last bit of ground up herb falls right through to the chamber. Haven't had it long enough to say anything about the pollen collection area, but the fineness of the mesh from the chamber above seems appropriate compared to other grinders I've had in the past, and the included rake is always a nice touch. The tray is also nice aside from the kinda cringey "Swag-Gear" logo on it. While I wish they had just left that off and stuck with the nice tree design on its own, I do understand why they wanted to include it, and in the big picture it's a very small gripe. The only real problem with the tray is that it has a hard time fitting into the closed box along with the grinder/jar. I've found that you can reliably get the box to close by placing the tray upside down in the lid and keeping the lid level with your table or w/e and flipping the bottom of the box upside down to close. Definitely inconvenient and possibly a bit dangerous in terms of sending your glass jar flying and shattering on the ground. for now I've just been keeping it separate from the box, but I'm considering using some Velcro on the bottom of the tray and the inside of the lid to circumnavigate this issue. If it works well, I may come back and update my review regarding this silly 'hack' I've come up with.So yeah overall, if it wasn't for the garbage locking mechanism I'd probably be giving this product 5 stars. But seeing as I have kids I was really looking forward to the peace of mind that it was hopefully going to provide and now I'm stuck trying to find another way to secure my supplies. 3 / 5 stars.
