Fits in my cupholder, perfect feel to it, keeps the coffee plenty hot. Best coffee cups I've ever owned ( I bought the 12 OZ first, and then bought the 15 oz). I bought my Navy wife a couple too. Need one that honors firefighters......

I owned this mug for about 1/2 cup of coffee before my wife expressed such a liking for it that I turned it over to her. Comfortable, large handle and good balance. The top has a rubber gasket around the circumference which creates a tight seal between the mug and the lid. The sliding cover for the opening resists leaks. I am not sure if it is absolutely leakproof but it was fine with a bit of sloshing in the car during regular use. The lid is recessed which would help contain any liquid that escapes. The design does not extend to the top of the mug, so your mouth only contacts the stainless steel, not the painted design. The design itself is attractive with a stylized American Flag design and the first 3 words from the Preamble to our Constitution. The mug kept a cup of coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time, but not as long as a sealed container. Since it is decorated and has a double wall construction I would not use it to heat anything over a campfire or other heat source.

Picture 3 shows the mug/tumbler. The black coating has a nice texture and goes well with the silver. It looks heavy but actually is a light mug! I like the handle on it- it’s more of a flat, square handle but you can grip it without a problem. Keeps liquids hot for 10-12 hours as well as cold liquids! My husband really loves this mug! It keeps his coffee HOT for hours and this he loves! I ordered this as I have a travel mug with a handle that doesn't fit into my cup holder in my truck. I was hoping this would and it worked in my rig. The cup itself is pretty heavy weight and does a decent job of keeping my coffee hot for most of the morning. The lid is not as high quality as the mug. The slide top works well but isn't leak proof, so don't tip your cup. I love the image, it is classic and timeless. Personally I feel this would make a great gift for any person in your life. It is fairly heavy duty without being excessively heavy, the image and color are great, the top, is tolerable. Overall I would recommend this mug, and would order it again as a gift for a friend.

Gorgeous mug with a heavy base to keep it stable. Black finish feels like a nice powder coat, with the hanging flag really standing out with the first line of the US Constitution inset into the stripes. Flag/phrase is silver, as is the lip, which really stands out.Cup holds liquids hot or cold for enough time to drink them. Plastic lid has an o-ring that keeps from leaking and also reduces thermal leakage. Sliding tab is smooth and prevents splashing and makes drinking easier. It's detachable for easy cleaning. Flat handle is similar to a camp cup and is big and wide that accommodates larger hands and is comfortable to hold/cup.Mug holds15oz so it's big enough for a small coffee (at coffee stores) and have room for milk/sugar. It's also good to hold cold drinks that should be kept cold for awhile, especially if going out to a party or picnic and you don't like the classic 'red cups.'Mug is a great price for how great it looks. And it works, so even better since it has a nice, heavy base so it won't tip from the wind.

Got this for my husband so he can carry his coffee or whatever drinks he wants on-the-go. Nice quality
