I very nice all around book to own. I carry it in my car. When I have a few minutes, I practice the strokes without paint. I find this trains my wrist and fingers to turn and flow with the stokes. Practice is a good thing.The colors are bright and instructions are right on.

I LOVE the simple, easy to follow instructions---I was so happy to find that besides flowers and leaves, it includes ladybugs, bees, and butterflies as well! I would have given this book a five star rating if it had spiral binding, as it's difficult to lay out without weights to keep ends down. I have to take it to my printer to cut off paperbook binding and rebind with spiral, and that's going to cost even more money.

Had another copy of this book but loaned to a friend. Was getting ready to do a project and I wanted a "refresher guide" for a particular stroke which I know Maureen showed.If anyone is just starting out or needs some "brush-up" on various brush strokes, this is the one I most recommend. The instruction per the various brushes and their capabilities is invalualble.Thanks for your influence over the years.

Lots of photos. Great instructions to follow in order to create all sorts of decorative flowers. I learned a lot - from the consistence of the paint to how to load the brush to achieve the perfect results. If I can do it, anyone can.

Not what I expected I thought this would have more information but seems a bit outdated for my daughter. I was looking more for a book that would teach her how different brushes make different strokes but it seems great if you like to paint mostly flowers

To date, this is my favorite decorative brushstroke handbook. It has lots of brushstrokes to learn, and each one is detailed with instructions and pictures showing the steps. Very nice. I'm really happy with my purchase.

This book is instructions for "EASY STROKE" painting, i.e. tole I should have read the description more carefully; but since I do a lot of Arts/crafts kind of stuff (as well as fine art), I decided it would be a good reference book and can be fun to play with. I love art books in general and anything that can add a dimension to my work, it's worth a try. Always open to new ideas and applications..

The most comprehensive book on one stroke painting. I suppose, the reason for the title of this lovely publication.I only received the book yesterday, so practicing the brush strokes hasn't happened yet. A very expensive "out ofprint" book, but well worth it for the written tutorial it will provide for months/years to come.

THIS IS THE ONE ! est-il écrit au dos du livre, et c'est vrai ! Tous les coups de pinceau qu'il faut connaître pour la peinture décorative sont dans ce livre. Tout est clairement expliqué, photographié. Un livre a avoir absolument et en priorité.
