Lindby Custom Linbar (Chrome) Compatible with 02-03 Honda VTX1800R

I love the look of these bars. I read a previous comment about a guy breaking the bolt off at the top of the radiator and dismissed it. I also broke that bolt off in the frame of the bike. I got it figured out, but just be aware the hardware that comes with the bars are cheap. The fit and finish of the bars are great and I would highly suggest getting this kit. The instructions were good even down to needing to rotate a hose clamp on the top radiator hose. Fit great on my 04 VTX1800S

I was so excited to put this on after 3 years of waiting/looking for the right bars. Easy enough install, I'm pretty competent. The instructions suck. Install required me to remove my radiator. I pulled out the top bolt and replaced it with the Lindby provided bolt after putting in the bars. While hand tightening with a quarter inch socket the bolt snapped in half. I called Lindby and was told that they use better than aeronautical grade bolts. It was a farce, the bolt was defective and had snapped in half. Lindby refused to help me in anyway or pay for an extractor kit. Anyone use an extractor before? They suck. Especially when you have next to no room to work with. I couldn't believe it. He said that they would do nothing to help me. I couldn't believe it, a friend of mine's bars were defective. He called and spoke to the owner and received amazing customer service. I regret this purchase, if the bolts they use are crap, what will the bars end up being in time?

I was sideswiped on the freeway and, instead of trashing the side of my bike, the highway bars took all the impact and saved my bike. They look great and are super comfortable as well!

Limited effort to install looks good. Decent quality, would like stronger wields at mounting brackets. Other than that good product.
