Well if you are overweight, into serious gambling, got a smoking habit or a drinking habit... are you really so strong willed?Here comes the solution, it is fairly strong (some people complained it can be opened with heavy machinery, of course it can, did you expect it to be bomb proof or what?), little (other people say that it is too small, ok, somewhat, but big enough to throw all your keys in it, keys that close your fridge with a chain, keys that close all you want and surely enough space for your wallet with all credit cards - and because of its compact size it is portable and ready for taking with you on holidays...) and very retro style and superbly simple in usage.How to use this:1. Turn the round button until you have you safe close time from 1 second to 10 days2. Touch the big button3. Wait 5 seconds - the grace period4. Listen to the closing mechanism5. You're done. No more will needed. And actually it teaches your mind as over the days, you spend less and less time looking at it and watching the seconds count down. Your mind accepts the fact that you're set and you don't suffer :-)Me:I use it to1. loose weight2. cut down on smoking to 3 cigarettes a day - no, I don't want to stop, just keep it limited. Yes. I can.Does it work for me?I tried for 2 years loosing weight, no chance!Now, I - finally - I found my magic solution. This feels sooo good! Yes, it works. My belly is nearly gone. I feel like I felt 20 years before again. Very, very happy about that.Cigarette is next. Trow the crap in, then wait 24 hours, get 3 cigarettes out, again 24 hours. As simple as that. Will work for sure and for safe.Verdict:If you are superstar like strong minded, you don't need this. If you are like 99% of humans and if your brain is already wired to some stuff you want to unwire, then you really need this.And as others said, surprisingly with all these billions of inventions, nobody had yet invented this. Looked for this for weeks and voila, found it:The kitchen safePros:- Cool- Batteries last a long time- Safe enough- Fun to use- Nice count down, good display, good sizeMinus:- You will loose some bad habits. What a pitty :-)- You will loose a few pounds, dollars or other currencies, but you will spend much less on you bad habit and feel free againTip:Do not get the transparent version, why make it harder salivating in front of this all day?

For me my main addiction is my phone, however I like how the product is so versatile that you can use it to store other items to which you are addicted. The following are my review points:Pros:1) It's large enough to store a good quantity of items (in my case I could store multiple devices in there)2) It's easy to use, just turn the knob to set the timer, click it to start the process (5 seconds) which allows you time to cancel it in case you've made any mistakes.3) The timer can go up to days as well!! Although I would probably just need it for a max of half a day :)4) It has a nice sleek design and has various colored tops, so at least it has an appeal factor on top of it's performance quality.5) One major thing I was really impressed with is that I found out you could remove the batteries whilst the box is locked, so I thought that this may be a huge potential flaw in the item but upon removing the batteries the box was still locked and when I put them back in the timer didnt reset, it simply resumed as if nothing happened. I'm very impressed with that.6) The box seems very durable, although I'm not stupid enough to pry it open or break the product which I've spent considerable money on xD, so I'm assuming if you accidentally dropped it it will remain intact.7) And finally, yes it has actually helped me reduce my iphone usage especially during evenings where I would spend hours and harm my sleep as a result, thus enabling me to engage in more value adding activities.Cons (potential recommendation points):1) Batteries as the power source. So that means you have to be well-stocked on batteries (although I'm not sure what the power consumption of the device is) which essentially means there is maintenance costs and time involved.2) There is no power-off button which I'm dissapointed in, I mean most devices (even battery powered ones) have an off-switch xD! So how I resolve that is by literally removing the batteries from the device to prevent unnecessary usage of the batteries when I'm not using it.3) Would love to see future models which can be recharged instead of relying on batteries. That would be great, would definitely invest in that, even if it's slightly priced higher.

I love this product. It feels strong and robust. I have used it several times for different reasons, initially purchased to control access to my sweetie collection, I also used the time lock to ensure hubby achieved his 'to do list' by locking away his tablet device. I also locked away my youngest daughters birthday gift (given 2 days early) as she was too tempted to open it. Recently I bought my accident prone/destructive middle daughter an expensive new Netbook (much needed for high school homework) and issued rules about shutting it down, not leaving it on the floor etc etc (to protect it). When I find it laying around against the rules I pop it in the safe and set it for 24hours. It works brilliantly. Of course the box is not entirely indestructible but it would be almost impossible to break into without damaging the contents. I can think of a hundred helpful applications for it and the best part is 'no over ride'... So no matter how much they nag, moan, whinge, whine or complain... Once I decide to use the safe, that's it. No will power or strength of character required. It totally works for me. Easy simple brilliant... Couldn't be more impressed.
