Rockland Double Handle Rolling Backpack, ACU Camo, 17-Inch

I take this with me to work. It is holding up nicely, still looks good, and is convenient. I really appreciate this. For a long time, I've been carrying an additional bag with my books and lunch upon my shoulder, and that can be heavy and uncomfortable. This rolling backpack comes to the rescue!!! So far, I've had it for a couple of months now and it's fine. I wish I would have bought this sooner!!! Thank you.P.S. This is fine for taking to work. I think it is well designed, well made and convenient. I like the storage, the handle, the zippers, compartments, material and wheels. Having said this, it may or may not be sturdy enough for wear and tear use that kids may do to it, same for air travel. I would not use this as a suitcase for travelling. I would consider something stronger in those cases.

I absolutely LOVE these Rockport rolling backpacks! This is my 2nd time to order one. The 1st one lasted a pretty good while, with some minor repairs here and there. I will say the zipper pulls need to be more sturdy, cuz they broke off within a cpl of months. I replaced them with novelty keychains and that did the trick. I would most definitely recommend these to any and everyone! I know I will be purchasing more in the future!

I got this backpack to tote my Bible and religious study books to church and Sunday school. They're fairly heavy, so it remains to be seen how long it'll hold up under that kind of weight.Otherwise: Seems to be well-constructed - sound seams, zippers operate smoothly, plenty of room in the two outside pockets for pens, glasses, phone, etc. Rolls nicely on hard floors, low-pile carpet and sidewalks. But as another reviewer said, the handle will NOT lock into place. The slightest downward pressure will cause it to collapse, so either the lock buttons are too small or the springs aren't strong enough (or both). About the only thing I can easily do about that is to tape the handle in the extended position with some black electrical tape and see how that works, though that will preclude getting it into the car easily. Time will tell if this little bug turns into a major annoyance. I'm not planning on traveling with it, so that helps.As far as the price point goes, I'm glad there was a 15% off coupon AND I had a $5 gift card to put toward the order, which brought the total cost down to just over $26 including tax. That seems about right for this item.

I was looking for a personal item back pack for my kids to use on our trips. This was perfect as it was free of charge to bring in our plane on frontier flights. Fit all their clothes for a week plus toys for each of them.

Day one and the water pocket ripped. My son doesn’t like it because it’s not easy to maneuver (he says it tips over) and the handle doesn’t seem very secure (doesn’t stay locked). It is okay for the value but not sure how long it will last - maybe a few months (son is a second grader).

Rolls well enough - holds a larger laptop with no issue. Use it at college as a daily bag. Zippers have held up.

I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! The pattern is great for my teenager. The quality and price is perfect!

Love this little backpack roller combo. My child uses it for school and everyone at school thinks it’s so cool too! Has tons of room for all the schoolwork, rolls smooth and looks cool! My only complaint is when your using it to roll, the straps for the backpack portion dangle and you roll over them, so I’m constantly having to tie them up around the straps so when it’s rolling it doesn’t drag along. Other than that, super cool and I love that if we needed to use it for traveling somewhere, it would make a awesome little travel case too.

Used this as a kid’s carry-on for 4 flights. Was a touch too big to fit easily under the plane seat, but fit enough we didn’t have to put it overhead. (Boeing 737 and DeHaviland-8)Rolls easy and fairly light. Not super comfortable as a backpack, but not terrible.
