Thick with lots of nice dark black
This is a nice mascara, in the sense it is very thick and dark. It tends to be clumpy, but worth it esp for a nightly event. It has a lot of contrast on the eye, because it is so nicely dark and thick. If you take extra time to comb through and separate the lashes with another tool, then the lashes don't look quite so clumped together.

great if you want to LOOK LIKE A RACOON
MAC MacStack Mascara Superstack was one of the most disappointing mascaras I’ve tried. It looks promising when first applied, but within an hour it started smudging badly under my eyes. Instead of staying lifted and clean, it quickly turned messy and gave me that dreaded raccoon-eye look. For a mascara at this price point, I expected much better wear and staying power. If you need something that lasts throughout the day without smearing, this one was a letdown and not worth it.
