The curtain rod is a brass gold color and very light weight. The material is sturdy , and comes with all the required stuff to install.

This curtain rod was half the price of the very other one we found. Y’all it looks like a pottery barn rod at a fraction of the price. I was so excited to see the quality You will live this curtain rod.

We were able to get this to work for the size window we have, but one of the posts wouldn’t fit the others so it wasn’t usable. It worked for ours, but if we would have had a larger window it wouldn’t have been useable. However, it does seem very sturdy and it’s worked well for what we needed!

Sturdy curtain rod. Modern, expensive looking. I won't comment on installation because I never like installing brackets.

I have no idea why the Amazon page says these items are frequently returned...these things are solid and the ends are substantial. This thing feels like it could hold up much more than 30 pounds and I love them. They look great and there is no variation in color. Although you can find other rods for much less, they will not last a lifetime like these will. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  I thought these curtain rods were absolutely gorgeous. I got both the bronze gold finish, as well as the gold finish. (They are both very similar in color tone, but the bronze gold is a matte). When they work as they’re supposed to, these rods are perfect! Sturdy, beautiful, Everything I wanted.However, BOTH sets had faulty pieces that prevented two sections from being able to screw together perfectly. The result is a crooked rod, or an unusable section piece (resulting in a too-short product). So disappointed!Since the rods are the same size throughout, the middle pieces can be mixed and matched to make the final rod longer or shorter as needed. (I got two sets of the same size and tried to splice them together for my two different sized windows.) However, keep in mind that each end section has a telescoping rod, and that is factored into the final measurement when sold. The telescoping pieces are quite a bit thinner and do not sit in a straight line if weight is put on them. Try to buy your curtain rod long enough that you don’t need to put any weight on the telescoping pieces. In order to do this, you need the SMALLER measurement to be the final size you need (an 88”-120”, for example, would function best at it’s 88” length).Metal throughout, nice and sturdy. Never got to test the hardware, but looks normal.Tldr; wanted to love, but ultimately will return because of the failure of the two rod sections to fit flush together.

I liked the colour, and style , but one of the end parts was a different shade of gold
