After becoming very ill with an infection after childbirth, I spent 8 days in hospital on a cocktail of iv antibiotics. I went home on oral antibiotics. A while later I developed a candida infection in my gut. Amongst all the digestive problems, I also developed psoriasis, athletes foot and other fungal infections. Alongside a strict diet I started taking these, taking a risk because of the cost, but everywhere I looked I found these recommended. I am now year on and the psoriasis has gone, as has the athletes foot etc, and the digestive problems are pretty much gone. I continue taking these as my body feels much stronger when I do. And if I have eaten foods that are not good for candida then I medicate myself with these. They are superb and I could not have returned to health in the way hat I have without them. Expensive but worth it.

Many suppliers sell these; at many different prices.....Amazon is easily the best value by quite a few £'s. A great way to get your friendly bacteria in a tasty little dose which reminds me of eating lemon puff biscuits! I keep them on my worktop & feed them to the whole family daily. Will definitely be reordering when the box gets low.

This is the one product I invest in. I see results. If you have candida overgrowth, I suggest this product. I take one sachet in the morning before I eat that's it. It's the best Probiotic I have ever used.

Can't give it five stars yet as still feeling the advantages. Pro's...definitely helps in fight against Candida, cons...experience quite bad die off symptoms first of all and makes your lymph glands hurt when first working, however if you soldier on through that it's great! Still using and recommend.

After suffering with candida overgrowth for many years, it was in my sinuses, head, neck, abdomen, skin, sometimes lungs, and have been trying nearly everything I could find on the market for months, my conclusion was that these probiotics to be the most effective and fast acting relief of all the simptoms. I would recommend to have those in every household. Be safe, stay away from antibiotics and cut down sugar and bread.

It did not help me as it used to with candida-is the formula changed?

Ok here's the drill...this stuff really works. I'll be the first one to tell you that prior to taking FiveLac I didn't believe in holistic "crap" like this. Eating healthy? Never in my agenda.After 8 years of feeling overly tired all the time, having constant nightly headaches, and dozens of doctor visits someone told me about "Candida."First time I heard about Candida I thought it was a load of crap and was highly against anything to do with it. Well I got to point where I was desperate and decided to give it a try. I went on the Candida diet strict for two weeks and started to feel better...but still didn't feel all of my symptoms went away. So I decided to try use FiveLac after just a few days taking 3-4 packets a day I felt like a whole new person. I'm serious. My life is totally different now! I have tons of energy now and I haven't had a headache in weeks. I seriously love this stuff. I love this product. It has always worked better for me than any other probiotic. The only reason I am giving four stars is because the package was badly smashed when I received it. It was not packaged well.

I went to several doctors and had numerous tests for aching lymph nodes and severe fatigue over a one and a half year period. I was told I potentially had MS, a brain tumor, or lymphoma based upon the results of my CT scans and blood tests and ended up having a spinal tap and suffering a spinal leak (very painful). I was ultimately told it was most likely a virus affecting my immune system, which may or may not eventually go away. After getting no relief or answers, my wife happened upon this product searching the internet for a solution. After suffering for so long, I was willing to try anything, yet remained very skeptical. This product worked almost immediately and really helped me. My lymph nodes no longer hurt, and I am essentially back to normal. I still need to watch my sugar intake, but Fivelac keeps me on track. I have never given a product a review, but felt compelled to do so based upon all the suffering I experienced which was clearly needless. I'm not saying it is a cure-all, but it really helped my symptoms and helped me return to a normal life.

My son has autism and we have seen awesome results. He is now 6 and was diagnosed at the age of 2. He has never slept the whole night through and many times during each week he will wake up at odd hours(like 2am or not even go to bed until 4am) and be up and then crash at school or when he gets home. His sleeping schedule was horrible, so freaking bad and it was of course making my wife and I's horrible as well.The yeast/fungal overgrowth kept him up and caused him a lot of pain. Since giving him Fivelac (we started on Threelac) He has slept every night the WHOLE night through from 9:30pm to 7ish am for the last month!!! This is nothing short of a miracle. There is no placebo going on here, he only knows I make him drink lemon tasting water in the morning. Of course we are seeing great results in other areas like his speech and willingness to pronounce words better, we also believe he can hear the words better; what happens inside a brain effected by Leaky Gut Syndrome is complex and usually explain to be like a fog or underwater but that is putting it VERY simple. We are up to 5 packets a day currently but only have been doing it for a total of 2 months, on the first week starting on 1 packet a day for that week and upping 1 packet a week after that.It impressed me so much I am taking it now too. The thing is that it causes Leaky Gut Syndrome, yeast overgrowth that is. Leaky Gut Syndrome causes many ailments in the brain. I was in a fog emotionally. Since taking it I am feeling much better and now I have the task of controlling my anxiety now that my emotions and how I used to feel are starting to reappear.My wife is going to start taking it too. I am glad for the time being the price has come down! ;-)
