My laser cutter Latitool F60 has a hook up for an air assist.I took some 8mm hose and ran it from the air pump to the laser, I used the flexitube that came with this to attach it to my laser's air intake and widened out the hole, in the shield, for the air tube to fit my specific combo of parts.Even with this cobbled together approach everything worked just fine.I should note that if I had a more common laser or bought the right sized hose this would have been a lot easier to setup.I've been running this air assist for a few months now and it works just as good as the day I bought it.I went from 3 passes at 380mm/m to 2 passes with my laser due to this air assist and the cuts are a lot cleaner as well.

The cuts with this air assist pump are thin, clean lines with little to now scorch marks. Very pleased with product. The replacement of the original pump was easy and straight forward. With this pump, my cut times are reduced, because I can use faster cut speeds.

I was running a larger compressor, per se style air mover, but this thing lightweight quiet. Sometimes I forget it’s even on if you’re looking to run this with your laser or a fish tank it’s simple and it works. Only comes with a sample piece of hose would be nice if it had three or 4 feet of rubber tubing, but you get paid for.

Very powerful. I use it on my laser engraver/cutter. It provides enough air "force" that I get a clean cut every time.

this is over kill as all get out. but, i like it. use it mostly on low.

I am very happy with this air assist pump. I was a little worried at first because I've used several of these aquarium pumps repurposed as air assist pumps with mixed success. This is a really good one!I am using this pump with my diode laser setup. Up until now I have been using an airbrush pump from the local discount tool store. This pump is a dramatic improvement over the airbrush pump. The quality of my cuts has gone up and I'm able to cut with lower power. My air assist is finally doing what I hoped it would with this pump.The construction on this is high quality and not cheap looking at all. It feels like it's built like a tank and the noise is really reasonable.The speed control is a great feature and helped me to really dial in the right amount of air assist for my machine. I always assumed that more air was better when it comes to air assist but I am able to run this on a lower setting and get better results on some materials. It is really helpful to be able to adjust this on the fly and see what effect the pressure has on the cuts.Overall, I'm really happy with this pump and will probably buy a second unit for my other diode laser. Be aware that the unit doesn't come with any tubing so you'll have to buy tubing and adapters to connect to the air assist nozzle on your machine.

This pump is diametrically opposite to quiet. It's as loud as my previous generic aquarium pump, just blasts your with all of the noise even on the lowest "setting". Horrible purchase, I got it to address the noise issue, and got exactly same loud product.The amount of places it says "quiet" (even in manual) is such a lie.

Bought this for air assist for a laser cutter. It works great and is so quiet I sometimes forget it is on. The adjustment knob is very handy for getting the perfect amount of pressure for each project. Way better than the compressors that have the same brand as the laser.

Nice volume of air for laser, nice and quiet. Adjustability is a good feature as well. Will likely buy another for other lasers.
