I bought this pre filter to be able to rotate this one and the one that came with the 311+Max air purifier I bought.I like to be able to wash it every couple of months. Now I have 2 of them so that I can rotate them out while washing the other one.After a while, they start to look dirty and I know it is working but I want to keep a clean one on it so it keeps looking nice. Plus, nobody wants house guests seeing dirty things in their homes.It fit just like the original one does for me and I would highly recommend it for your rotation.

The filter cover is the same as the one the purifier came with. Washes well.

A brilliant idea to create a pre-filter that is both reusable and decorative. One is able to get a variety of colors and just switch 'skirts' when pre-filter changing is recommended and throw the 'used' one in the wash.

Nice to have a spare, catches all animal hair and washes great.

I like the function and the color, but it doesn't fit as well as the original. For it to look ok, I have to gather a bunch of fabric at the bottom/base. Not a huge deal but not ideal, either.

the variation in models sizes leads to trowing away or returning purchased product like disposable filter. not sure if this whole filter system is just disposable motor and all , if the consumables are not consistent in size's . evidently 311i max is different than 311 and amazon sells the 311i filter cover now

it fit but bit bigger than my original makes it floppy
