I've own a turtlebeach headset as well as the PS4 ones and they did not work well for me due to the mic sounding scratchy. I was looking for headset that was comfortable and helps me sounds more clear and perfect when in a party and these do the trick. I was doubtful from all the reviews for the headset they were 50/50% good and bad and I couldn't decide what I wanted to choose so I picked these since the price was cheap. The only issue I have is the usb cable that lets you raise the volume which worked but I couldn't talk at all unless I was using the controller port instead of the console. Just by being connected to the controller itself I cannot mute or fix the volume, but I don't mind that I could just take off the mic. it's still a great headset if you need a cheap one that is comfortable, sounds great, and mic is clear. :)
