I love this weather station
Based on some of the reviews I was concerned that this weather station might be complicated to set up. I needn't have worried. The station itself does most of the heavy lifting for you. Basically, you put batteries in the station or plug it in. Doing both is best so you have a battery backup. Also, with it plugged in the backlight stays on. With batteries, it goes out after a few seconds to save the batteries. Then you put batteries in the remote sensor and hang it outside avoiding direct sunlight and direct exposure to rain. Under the eaves on the north side of your house works perfectly. At that point, the station is already calibrating itself and figuring out the inside and outside temperatures and humidity levels. It is also searching for the radio signal to set the clock. This all might take some time so if things aren't perfectly accurate right away be patient. It will all adjust itself. I did set the clock without waiting for the radio signal and the next morning I noticed that it was off by one hour. The radio signal had kicked in and reset the time and I had failed to set the device for the correct time zone. I fixed that and now the clock is right on.The inside and outside temps and humidity levels seem to be very accurate, at least for general use, within a degree or so. The weather forecast section is based on the barometric pressure trend, whether it is going up or down, and obviously won't be as accurate as an actual weather forecast but it's interesting and fun to watch the forecast, and it will give you a general idea of what to expect weather-wise.The station can be used standing on a table or on a shelf or hanging on a wall. I opted to put it on the wall in our living room where I can see it from my easy chair. The first photo was taken sitting in my chair which is about 10 feet away from the station. The second is also from the chair but standing up. I did this to demonstrate that the station can easily be read from that distance and can also be seen from different angles. I can read it from most places in the room but granted, it is a small room. But the screen is bright, the icons large, and it can be read easily from various distances and angles. The screen is colorful, looks very cool, and is quite eye-catching. People notice it where I have it placed and comment on how cool it looks. The instruction manual is very complete. So complete that at first it looks intimidating. It's not. It includes information about things that the station takes care of all by itself. Read it slowly, take your time. It's a lot easier than it looks. The station provides a lot of information. Indoor and outdoor temperatures. Indoor and outdoor humidity levels. (There's even a smiley/frowny face in the indoor humidity section that shows the comfort level in your home.) It shows the barometric pressure, the trend, up or down, of that pressure, and predicts the weather accordingly using animated graphics. There's a colorful icon that shows the phases of the moon. There's an icon that shows when it's time to change the batteries in the remote sensor. There's a "Histogram" that shows the recent history, up or down, of the barometric pressure. The backlight brightness is adjustable. There are settings that will alert you to extreme outdoor temperatures and frost warnings.. You can even set a wake-up alarm with a snooze button. So the station has a lot of features, some of which, such as the alarm and temperature warnings, I probably will never use, but it's nice that they're there. So I really like this weather station. It does a lot of cool things, does them well, and looks great on the wall. I do recommend it.

Works great, and the customer service is very responsive
I actually bought two of these because I liked them so much. The first one came with two remote sensors and one of them did not work. I emailed Newentor and got a response within a day, and then they shipped me out a new one! Great service. On the unit itself, I find that it takes 20-30 mins for the remotes to stabilize their readings, just be patient. On the remotes, I had the base station in my kitchen and one remote in the garage about 30 feet away (but through 2 walls). I don't have any problems getting a reading. I did buy a second base station a week later and I found that the limit for the remotes is 3 - you set the remote channel on the remote 1 to 3. So, the second base station attempts to read the outside remote but it is 50 feet away so it doesn't always come in - but sometimes it does. I don't know what would happen if I had two remotes on the same channel but separated. I will have to try that. Finally, the Base Station is really nice because when you plug it in, there is a bright display that is very easy to read. Setup is very simple. Just plug in the base station (I would recommend AA backup batteries), put the batteries in the remotes and set the channel (1-3), and then it will auto connect.I highly recommend this. I bought another weather station but it had a B&W screen which was very hard to read unless it was in bright light. This Newentor Weather Station has a glowing color screen which is very appealing. And the service was great!

Accurate, easy to read, glad I bought it, but...
I purchased this weather station in April, 2024. The price was good, but the setup was challenging enough that I've kept the manual handy and have had to use it a couple of times. All in all, I really like this item, but one feature was a significant disappointment: the barometric pressure display. I have purchased items similar to this in the past, and those that have a barometric pressure display always allowed me to set it to the current altimeter setting (sea level pressure adjusted for the local elevation). This weather station has no option for that. Instead, it basically said to look out the window and set it according to the weather you observe. Huh?! Supposedly that will set the unit to an approximation of the actual pressure at the local elevation. This is NOT a very accurate way to enter that setting, and it is NOT the reading that we are accustomed to seeing in local weather reports. I have to admit that this was a big disappointment for me. Still, I like the unit very much and will highly recommend it--unless that barometric pressure issue is really important to you.

Really nice, easy to read
An excellent "weather station" for temp and humidity. It is bright and easy to see.One problem feature that is probably not going to be a problem for you. Every night at about 3am, the unit shuts down for about 7 minutes in order to check the time with an over-the-air radio based time setting. If the device is unable to connect to that source, it will try again an hour later. Now this is what happened to me. The place where I like to have it, is somehow preventing that radio contact and every night it shuts down from around 3 and again at 4 and again at 5. There is no way to stop this other than to move it to a different location. It would have been nice if the device would allow me to turn off that feature.

My own private weather station and it works too
When I grew up in Rotterdam in the Netherlands we has a barometer in the hallway. I am in Singapore largely because of the cold weather in Holland. The Dutch fought and 80 year war with the Spanish. The Spanish soldiers stared dying of pneumonia, and a rich variety of respiratory diseases. The Spanish soldiers felt this piece of wet swampland is not worth fighting for. And eventually they left. The barometer in our hallway predicted the weather in coming days and did so reliably. High air pressure signals good weather and low air pressure the opposite. And this product does a great job predicting the weather. Additionally it has thermometer and now I can see what Global warming actually does in terms of raising the ambient temperature. Frightening. Praying for a CO2 scavenger to be invented with a huge appetite.

Very good thermometer
It is reliable, precise, nice looking. The only thing I miss is the real feel temperature, that is why only 4 stars.Bought it in the spring of this year, 2024.I would buy again.

Newenter
I found it difficult to set up. It sometimes, for no apparent reason, goes black even while connected to power. The temperature indications are good. The moon phases appear inaccurate. Did not seem to connect to daylight saving
