This milk frother works great for foaming both hot and cold milk and also for just heating milk so you can make lots of different coffee and tea drinks with it.The device has a simple design which is very similar to the Nespress Aeroccino 3 frother (if you’ve ever seen one of those). There is a flat power base that you plug into a power outlet, and then the separate frother itself. Since the frother is a separate piece you are able to pick the frother up off the base once it’s heating and/or frothing process is complete so you can easily take it to where you need it.The frother uses a spinning bar with a coil around it for generating the foam. There is a spare bar and coil stored in the lid. If you are only heating the milk then you remove the coil so only the bar spins for evenly distributing the heat. The bar assembly fits over a spindle on the inside of the frother. This is different than more expensive frothers which tend to use a magnetically spinning bar so there are no actual moving parts inside the milk reservoir. This design might be slightly trickier to clean since you will need to clean around the spindle but it’s not a huge deal.The inside of the frother is a non-stick material that makes cleaning easy. The unit is not dishwasher safe so you’ll want to rinse it out and wipe it down after each use. A small angled cleaning brush is also included to help with cleaning any tight spots without scratching the finish.To use it just pour in your milk (there are two different fill lines depending on if you are wanting to froth the milk or simply heat it… you can put more milk in if you all you are doing is heating it), put the lid on, then sit the frother on the power base and push the button on the front to select the mode you want to use. There are four modes: heat and froth with dense foam, heat and froth with fluffy foam, heat only, and frothing cold milk. Each push of the button advances the mode to the next option and 4 lights around the button indicate the current mode. Once you stop pushing the button the frother will begin the selected mode after a couple of seconds.The frother works great and even does a good job frothing and foaming non-dairy milk. I mainly use almond milk and as you can see from my photos it creates a nice foam with the almond milk. The top edge of the frother has a outward curve to it so you can pour the milk out without it running back down the outside of the frother. No issues with spills.The only minor downsides that I could find are:- The power cord on the white model is still black. I would have preferred a matching white power cord.- As previously mentioned, the spinning mechanism uses a physical spindle rather than being magnetic, thus creating some spaces that will require extra cleaning.- It’s not dishwasher safe like some other, more expensive frothers.Overall I highly recommend this device. It looks nice, does a great job, and the price is very competitive.

Loved this frother when it came and got attached to using it every day. Then after only 3 months it stops working. It will not spin, only beeps. Of course my return window is closed.After I wrote my original review the company reached out to me and asked how to make the situation right. They have really amazing customer service! Sent me a replacement extremely fast. It’s working great!

I use this on a daily basis, there are more buttons than my previous milk frother. It also has a cold function. Well, if you want hot chocolate, just pour in the milk of your choice, chocolate, coconut sugar or whatever and it all comes delicious. I love this one.

Update - I loved the foam and ease of use, but the product died after about 4 months. The frother would turn on for less than a minute and the milk came out cold. However, when the customer support team read this, they immediately shipped me a new one which I really appreciated. It continues to produce good results!

I think I’ve fallen in love with this frother. Seriously.I was visiting a close friend back in March and got introduced to a home frother. I didn’t know that these smaller versions existed. I was hooked after my first cup.I opted for this one by Ratrso because I liked the features and the reviews were very positive. I am adding another positive review to the mix.Why I love this:- It offers four different frother settings: cold froth; hot milk (no froth); hot dense foam; hot airy foam. The hot dense foam has become my go to setting.- So easy to use! There are markers on the inside to show the min and max amount to milk to add.- Auto Shut-off. I like that I don’t have to watch over this to see when it is finished.- Fast! This steams and foams the milk much faster than the one my friend has. It takes about two minutes from the tip I press the button until it is done.This has changed the way I drink coffee. I never thought I would be able to make a cappuccino or latte at home the way I can now.This comes with a brush to clean the bottom and two whisks. Cleaning is easy. A damp cloth is usually all I need.If I could give this 10 stars I would. It is fantastic. I can’t recommend this enough!Tip if your milk isn’t foaming: After using this for the first week, I thought it was broken. All of the sudden it wasn’t foaming the milk the same way. A few days later it was working again. Then the same thing happened where it was’t working properly. I contacted the company and they gave some suggestions. I then realized that the milk wasn’t fresh and that is why it wasn’t foaming up. I did a couple of tests and verified that was the case. If the milk is close to or past the sell by date, it doesn’t foam as well.

Recieved this milk warmer/frother a little over a month ago and I used it everyday since then, today it stopped working. It beeps when I press the button to select a cycle and nothing else happens. No lights or hum of the motor. Just dead. It's never been dropped and I always clean it and store it in a safe place (unplugged) between uses. No clue what happened 😕I did read 1 star reviews before purchase and thought it was worth a try since it's cheap and I was going to upgrade if I liked it.Here are a few common complaints from negative reviews that I experienced--Stops working after 1-3 months (yep)-Milk burns on bottom after each use (yep must clean behind each use, if you use 2x in a row wothout cleaning milk burns BAD)-lid doesn't seal (if you over fill past the line even a little milk will overflow from top while frothing)-overheats/melts (didn't happen to me but it's a common complaint)

Can froth very easy and easy to clean.

I wanted a frother but could not justify the high price of the ninja or nespresso machines. I found this machine on an Amazon search and, in my opinion, it is on par with the more expensive models and has more features than others I looked at. I found all the heat options worked great: dense foam, light foam, steamed milk and cold foam. It works great will all kinds of milks (dairy and non-dairy). My favorite was dense foam with chocolate milk, my least favorite was foamed coconut milk which did not froth well. The steam feature was nice for hot chocolate and heated to a perfect temp for a child. I like that the frothing attachment is removable to clean and that it also comes with a spare frother which stores nicely in the lid, so you don’t have to worry about loosing it. My only negative is that it would have been nice to come with a cleaning brush to make it easier to clean inside as you get some hot milk residue on the bottom. It can be cleaned with a cloth but would be harder to do if you had larger hands.

I’ve used the frothed a few times now and it’s one of the best thing I’ve purchased off of Amazon! So easy to clean, heats and or froths milk so quickly!11 MONTH UPDATEThe milk heating button no longer works after almost 12 months. I’ve never used the chilling button but both of the frothing buttons still work fine.

Worked great, for about 8 months...now it is broken. The wisk is not spinning anymore. We used it 2-3 times/week. So overall very dissapointing.
