Tecknet vertical mouse
This is a good quality ergonomic mouse, comfortable to hold, fairly intuitive to use, and very easy to set up - just plug and play.I like the range of DPI settings and was able to find one that worked for me quickly and easily. The lights are a fun touch too. As this is the first time I've used a vertical mouse, it did feel a little odd and will probably take a bit of time to fully get used to - it did feel pretty natural and comfortable to hold though and I think it would help ease some of the wrist pain I get when using the mouse a lot.The main downsides for me with this mouse were firstly, that the thumb rest felt a little high - I had to hold my thumb up to avoid accidentally pressing buttons when clicking, and it made it less easy to guide the mouse movement. I also still accidentally pressed the back button several times as it's right where my thumb sits. I found that the mouse didn't glide very smoothly on my table mat too - it was fine with big sweeping motions but the smaller movements were juddery. I had to give up using it after a while as it was taking more effort to direct the pointer than my regular mouse. It might work better on a proper mouse mat though. I'm used to wireless mice these days as well so having the wire all over the table was a bit of a pain - the wire is a good length though and didn't cause any difficulties with the movement of the mouse.I think I'll need more practice with it before deciding if this will replace my regular mouse but it's certainly well made, has some good features and looks great!

Took me some time to get used to
I was sneaky and swapped this mouse on to a shared computer in our house overnight. Personally I find the mouse comfortable and usable. It took some time to get used to it,A) I use the back button a lot on my current horizontal mouse, I can press this with the ball of my thumb, on this mouse I have to reach with the tip of my thumbB) on my horizontal mouse I generally have my forefinger on the left button, middle on the middle wheel and the third finger on the right button. With this mouse the middle finger rests more comfortably on the right mouse button. The third and little fingers through rest nicely on the curve of the mouseC) with a horizontal mouse, the weight of the hand allows one to move the mouse confidently. With this mouse the thumb grabs it on the leftThey don't really sound like major differences really. So if you can get over those, there are a couple of functions over a standard mouse available:1) There are two extra buttons, usually defined as back and forward by default. Personally I use back a lot on my other mouse, forward less so2) There is a DPI selection button. This cycles (up, then back to lowest) through a selection of sensitivities. Although I do have this capability on my usual mouse, I don't often use it. However, if you are someone that changes a lot between office applications and gaming, then this can be really helpful. The current DPI is shown on the LED ring around the thumb area3) There is a button which changes the lighting effect of the LEDs. The default effect is nice and subtle, it won't distract whilst working. If you are looking for something different to replace your current mouse, whether it be the look or to assist in the feel, then this mouse might be a good solution. It isn't a totally budget mouse, but the price won't break the bank

Interesting ergonomics
I've never used a vertical mouse before, and having recently tried out a trackball for the first time in over 40 years and loved it, I thought I should give one a try. So here we have Tecknet's offering. The mouse comes packaged in a fairly plain looking box. If you are familiar with Tecknet you will know that all of their products are packaged similarly. In the box you have the mouse and a small guide. The mouse is surprisingly big and somewhat resembles a snail. The quality isn't bad at all. In fact it feels quite good. Especially when you consider the price point. The ergonomics on the other had are pretty interesting. I can see why some people would prefer a vertical mouse, and it isn't totally alien. In fact it doesn't feel dramatically different. But for me it isn't as intuitive or as comfortable as a track ball or a regular mouse. It always feels a bit un-natural. With that said the mouse works remarkably well for its price. DPI can switched on the fly and it feels fairly responsive. There is even a little RGB lighting. Being wired there's no concern for batteries or chargingI am not sure vertical mice are for me. However this one from Tecknet is good value and works well.

Interesting design, but takes some getting used to.
A well made plug and play mouse with light up led lights and a selection of good clicky buttons. Feels nice to hold and well made.It does help reduce strain on the wrist. Particularly useful when you're doing a lot of clicking in say design software or with 3d animations. I did find this reduced the pins and needles I tend to get in my hands when using a mouse for a long time.Overall does the job well and is a good deal for the quality.

The ergonomics of the mouse are interesting - its surprisingly big and somewhat resembles snail!
This is a solid built ergonomic mouse that is comfortable to hold and easy to set up. I've seen one of my work colleagues using it so I though I'll give it a goo when I'll have a chance. I've never had such mouse before, and my first impression - the mouse is surprisingly big and somewhat resembles a snail.. The ergonomics of the mouse are interesting and may be beneficial for people who experience wrist pain, I personally have to get used to it, I'll need more practice with it before deciding if it will replace my regular mouse, but I like it. The only downsides are that the thumb rest is a little high and the mouse doesn't glide very smoothly on my table mat. It has a range of DPI settings and fun RGB lighting. It is also very reasonably priced and works well for its price.

Comfortable to hold
This mouse is comfortable to use once you get used to it, it doesn't have a roller ball that can be moved by your thumb as I thought it did so it takes a bit of getting used to, the pointer is still controlled by movement of the mouse in the same way as a standard mouse. It has bright RGB lights and is wired. It's fairly lightweight, but I have found it to be quite bulky so it won't be replacing my usual mouse.
