Some tips to save some construction headaches
Took me an hour per shelf unit tonight. It’s not hard to put together but not easy either. Sometimes everything slots into place but other times not. You’ll need a rubber mallet to bang bits into place and it recommends some gloves. I ignored the gloves and got a couple of nasty pinches. The instructions are such that you can put it together and then find out you’ve done it wrong and have to undo. Here’s some tips.- don’t put a shelf at the top of lower vertical support as the diagram suggests as you’ll need to put the extender pieces there- there’s a big logo on one of the shelves- the vertical supports have fixing holes in different places. Try and get them to match.- there’s 25 slots per vertical support. I put my shelves about 15 slots apartI haven’t used them yet but now they’re together they seem well made. I bought another brand for another space so I’ll compare the two.

NOT strong or quick to assemble
Despite the glowing reviews - here is an honest one from an experienced DIY enthusiast. I bought these because I needed the 160 cm height and not the higher 180 cm which most other units are. These ones are obviously manufactured to a price point - and although they are metal, the sections are quite thin and light, and until the whole thing is put together, it all feels a bit flimsy. These shelving kits are all pretty much the same and the frame is tapped together with a series of tags/ears and slots. You need a mallet (I used a wooden one) and it is quite an effort to get the cross bars located into the uprights - you have to really PUSH the tags into position as they are tapped in. Once assembled the whole thing is quite stable, but really more suited to storing 'hobby' stuff and light household materials. The MDF shelves are only 0.5mm thick. I have some 'similar' older shelves which were more expensive but made from much heavier materials and with 10mm shelves. They are solid and more 'workshop' grade ! I've had many years of putting together Ikea and other self assembly items - these ones are a bit of a challenge and I think elderly or inexperienced people would have some difficulty. Assembly of One unit took me almost 2 hours, it isn't a half hour job. If you're at all concerned about dealing with the self assembly thing - I would look at alternatives like wooden shelves.

**ONE STAR** Unsafe, useless weight capacity.
The media could not be loaded. Don't buy this unless you are storing toilet rolls on it because that's all its suitable for. It's not safe for anything near the weight specification on the listing that's simply untrue. After placing 3 items on the shelf it was already bowing and looking like the legs were going to fold. You can see the amount it bends with little effort in the video. And also the amount the uprights were bowing compared to a straight bit of wood. Unsafe and misleading. Go to screwfix, spend more money, and avoid injury. The only way I can use these is to screw each and every shelf level to the wall. Just make sure you hammer the cross members down firmly with a rubber hammer, this helps the rigidity alot.In the end I had to drill and bolt the units together just get them stay upright. See the bolts I had to use in the picture..

Three Stars
The quality is Not bad ,I said it is ok,the staff contacted me and give me 9pounds refund, because I gave them 3 star, they thought I was not satisfied,it shocked me,in fact, the rack is stable, good quality, but why I gave 3?because When I install the rack ,I hurt my finger.now I change to 5 stars, because the staff is very patient and really good service,it surprised me ,this is the first time I received part refund that I didn't request.

Good
This is exactly what I expected. It took me an hour to put together, on my own. Suggest you do construction close to where you intend to place it as once constructed lifting it into position can be problematic. Otherwise, pleased with this.

Do buy a [cheap] rubber mallet.
Good looking strong shelves. Good and sturdy. Read the instructions, take care that all the measurements match'using a rubber mallet means you can bang the unique fixings into place, safely and without damaging the paint.

Good sturdy shelving
Good sturdy shelving. The grooves can be quite hard to fit into the slots but a rubber mallet works well without damaging the struts!
