I got this for my parents for Christmas and they LOVE it! The pictures are super clear as you can see. Something that’s really cool is that you can share your login with others and each person ends up having their own control of what they personally want for the app on their phone, stores their own unique photos that they took, etc. So while my parents live in PA I can get messages from the app that I downloaded to my phone that the camera detected a bird and can go in live to see it. The app has a lot of cool features you can personalize to your liking. While the product is expensive, I think it’s totally worth the expensive if you’re a bird lover and watcher. My Mom LOVES taking photos when a bird lands. I like that you can set the app to take photos when a bird is detected and then you have surprise fun photos to go look at. :) Another cool feature is that you can press a button to identify what kind of bird it is! Not sure how accurate it is yet as I haven’t used that feature yet.

The quality of the materials and the camera module is surprisingly better than I thought for this price point, connecting to wifi and pairing up was a breeze as you just need to download the 'Bird Lover' app and scan the QR code shown using the camera from the bird feeder device!Please note there is a rubberized cover around micro USB port which is removable and you can find the switch to turn it on and off, this was a bit tricky to find out initially as the instructions are not clear in the manual! It also has option to insert the memory card and the camera module swivels for easy access!I tested the app features like capturing photos, videos, two way communication and the motion detection and pretty pleased by the way it functions!

Item was great except was missing the round plastic locking piece that goes under the L bracket / mount.Otherwise super happy.Will change to 5* if we can get the lock screw plastic that was missing sent to us.

I am so impressed with this and slightly obsessed with it too. I’m always checking the app when it tells me there is a bird sighting. The picture quality is amazing and it can even identify them for you too! I love everything about this bird feeder/camera. A must for any bird lover!

Absolutely love this feeder! Truly enjoy bird watching and seeing all the different birds. You’ll love it too!!

I'm sure this wold be a lot of fun but I can't set it up.I am 68 and not all that tech savy.I had my daughter who does all that stuff for me look at it and it frustrated her! Her husband is coming over to try later.This might just turn out to be an expensive bird feeder and nothing else.Set up is complicated.Don't believe other-wise.We even watched the Youtube on it.You have to scan a code then use the camera on the feeder to scan it and that didn't work.The Youtube lady gives you several impossible things to do if this happens and it happens.If you're not really tech-savy be prepared to have a teenager who is and doesn't mind spending time reading the directions and setting up your bird feeder.Good luck

I bought this for my mom for her birthday. She loves to bird watch but was disappointed she couldn’t see up close. I’m pretty sure this is her favorite birthday gift I’ve ever given her. She can now see the birds very clearly. We did have to move it because the squirrels were enjoying it as much as the birds.

it's so annoying with the squirrels some run off but most stay on it i have to constantly get my caregivers to fix it.
