I've been the happy owner of a triple set of the excellent and very good looking Gigaset SL785 phones for about five years now. The phones themselves still look as fresh and contemporary as a daisy, but as anyone who's owned a mobile phone or laptop will know, batteries - even rechargeable ones - don't last forever. Generally a rechargeable battery lasts around 500 discharge/recharge cycles before it wears out and needs replacing. It's all to do with the chemicals inside gradually being altered and losing their capacity to hold a charge. So with any quality cordless phone you'll need to change the batteries after a while, depending on your useage patterns and how often you abuse it by running it entirely flat.My original, official Gigaset batteries lasted 2 years before my phones began behaving oddly. Calls would drop out suddenly and the sound quality went from outstanding to mostly poor. This is a sign that the batteries are only managing to charge to a lower voltage than that needed by the electronics, so it was time for a change. Imagine my shock when I discovered that another set of 3 genuine batteries would cost me seventy five quid! I almost fainted!!Having searched Amazon I came across these after-market alternatives for way less money. They're the same size, the same rating and they do the same job as the originals. It felt like a bit of a punt, but at fifteen pounds v seventy five I had nothing to lose. That was three years ago! In all that time they have performed flawlessly, as have my telephones. Only now am I beginning to get the same indications of performance drop. So basically these batteries have given me 50% greater service life at roughly 80% cost saving. I'm about to order more batteries for my phones, and I know which I'll be choosing. It's a no-brainer.

The first thing to say is that the seller was efficient in all the areas needed to process my order and deliver the goods as advertised.There's not much one can say about batteries so I'll be necessarily brief.1. These fit perfectly into my phones - a good start.2. The batteries charged quickly in the handset, without overheating etc.3. After several months of use, they hold charge well.

I ordered 4 batterys. 3 worked fine and were partialy charged, they worked fine. The fourth arrived flat and although I left it on charge for 24 hours before use, it did not fully charge. For that money it was not worth sending it back.

Really pleased with battery as I was having issues with my house phone and was not too keen to purchase a new phone. So seems to work well so far and delivery was quick - really pleased!

This compatible battery works perfectly . The factory battery is far more money and this one does the job and leaves change for a meal in my pub.

Phones working well with the replacement batteries. Hope they last as long as the original batteries. I imagine I'll be ordering more in three years time.
