Better Than Lap Sealant
I bought a used 1997 Jayco travel trailer that had several roof leaks. A good part of the rubber roof had worn down, & the seams where the sides met the roof were in pretty bad shape. Prior owner went a little crazy with lap sealant, which was old, cracking, & falling apart. I really didn't want to deal with the mess of using lap sealant, which would need replacing after a few years. So I bought this sealant tape, & it did an excellent job of sealing up the side seams, around roof vents, end caps, & on spots where the rubber roof has worn down or had small tears. Was pretty easy to use, as well. I just gave the roof a good cleaning with water & tide detergent, then rinses off. After that dried, I prepped by cleaning spots I taped with rubbing alcohol & rag. Its much easier if you have 2 people...one to hold the end & keep it lined up straight, the other to peel off backing & lay down tape. It's also best to cut the tape in the length of sections you're going to use first, rather than just going off the roll, & much easier to work with lengths of no more than 4 ft at a time. This tape is super sticky, & once you lay it down, it's NOT COMING UP! So be sure you have it positioned where you want it before laying down. It's very durable & you won't need to reapply. Ever. I even placed it right over old lap sealant (after cleaning) that i didn't feel like scraping up, & it's holding perfectly. I reccommend this to anyone who doesn't want to deal with the mess of lap sealant, or having to scrape, clean, & reapply lap sealant every other year. Save yourself the huge expense, & hours spent on the roof. This is a durable one shot fix to a leaky roof. I wasn't sure my roof was salvageable but it watertight all the way around now. Very happy 😊.

This Tape does what it needs!
Our RV had some large branches hit it during a wicked storm that caused some minor damage to our rubber roof and its seal right around the slide out. After doing some investigating this tape is the one that had the best reviews and price. We repaired the roof, and used this tape and had another massive rain storm, and downpour, and so far this tape is doing what it needs, and there isn't a leak!

Looks better than the cracking fiberglass
It looks better and as long as you ruff up the metal you are trying to adhere it to it works but it doesn’t adhere to itself or foam filler very well

Not Premium But Works OK
If you are comparing this to E...Bond tape, you might be disappointed. The outer layer (white) is fairly close in quality, and it seems like it will last a good while. The plastic film that covers the adhesive until you are ready to use the tape, is tissue-paper thin, not a heavy duty plastic like you might think. The adhesive itself is a bit gooey, and though it did stick fairly well to the tent material I was using it on, It did not seem to have the sticking power of E...Bond. In all fairness, however, the price of this tape is quite reasonable. So...as long as you don't expect this to perform like premium tape, you will probably be satisfied.

looks good
Its only 2 weeks now but looks good, if it holds for 2 years it will be worth it.. I only gave a 4 star but if it does hold for 2 or 3 years its will be a 5 star..
