These are the first "white" curtains I've seen that actually block sunlight.My husband works graveyard so we need a room truly blacked out for him to sleep. Over the course of our marriage this has meant we've always had dark curtains. First navy, then brown.We finally decided to get blackout blinds installed, but they leave a bright line of light around both large windows where the sun sneaks through around the edges.ETA: I realized not everyone is hanging these in front of blackout blinds, so as a test we opened the blackout blinds (so full daylight was coming through) and we pulled the curtains closed. They block the vast majority of light coming through, leaving only a faint glow around the edge of the curtains. My husband, who sleeps during the day, pronounced them as the best light blocking curtains he has had.These curtains block every bit of light around those edges. The room is pitch black when they're pulled shut. My husband was thrilled. I'm thrilled that we no longer have to have dark curtains in our bedroom.They're heavy curtains, a thick satin, and lined with black on the back side. I wouldn't say they're super shiny but they have a definite sateen look.I think they look white but I do think the black in the back side may give the faintest hint of silver/grey when looking at them. It doesn't bother me at all as they're hanging behind a set of sheer curtains in a double curtain rod.I would recommend these if your goal is good looking curtains that block the light.

Matches perfectly with walls and most importantly, truly darkens the room. Photos are taken same day/time (approx 2pm) on a fairly bright February day in Northern California.We have white blinds, which are fine for privacy but don't really block sunlight when we want to sleep in on the weekend or take a nap during the day (should we have that luxury).I just installed these today and it looks great! Blackout works as advertised and expected. I hope this will also be effective at blocking heat in the summer, particularly since we have single pane windows. We'll see.Only issue, which isn't a product issue, is that the curtains match so well with the walls that it looks rather boring, although the material is a satin so it has a silky glow to it. I'm going to buy a sheer curtain to layer on top to give the curtain a little dimension and design.

The curtains were very thick and blocked light adequately but showed up with dark stains on them (pictured). I returned them right away and will be ordering others.

I don't mind the look, feel, or color, however, the two panels were different lengths. So extremely frustrating.

I'm really surprised and impressed at how well these work. This is probably my 8th set of blackout curtains and I try different brands, but always am looking for actual blackout curtains (NOT room darkening), and have always shied away from the eyelet tops thinking they would let light in at the top.These will truly block bright sunlight with no light bleeding through. I'm comparing these to a pair by another brand I purchased in black (for maximum darkness) on Amazon this summer. Even with blackout blinds behind them, there were still the pin-prick light spots coming through the curtains, and even though I had them mounted extremely close to the wall and many inches above the window to avoid any light bleed, a fair amount still came through. I've also had beautiful light-blocking curtains hand made - but these actually work better!I purchased a few pairs in brown for 2 partial walls of glass in a bedroom, 1 set of sliding doors and the other are just floor-to-ceiling windows, and I see no light escaping through the top or anywhere for that matter. I consider this to be a real test of coverage because it's similar to the room being half greenhouse. They've cut the temperature down in the room as well, which I love.After so much trial and error, I would purchase these and avoid the several other pairs I now have in storage because these actually do the job, hang well, are a cinch to get on rods, and are true blackout curtains. I love these! I needed white curtains but was hesitant about buying these because I had read previous reviews stating that the white curtains looked grey, But they do not look grey.. Sure they aren't bright white but still a good color white. (See photo) I highly recommend them! They keep my room very dark during the day.

Photo is with current curtain rod.Will replace with a sturdier one.Also my window is 36" across.I bought the floor length curtains.Weighty which I like,But I did decide to buy a longer sturdier rod.Both for aesthetic and peace of mind.I will install the rod after world cup 2018.Currently, I can get away with using one panel to cover the windowBut I want to extend beyond the window and use both panels so I bought a sturdier, longer curtain rod.I wasn't looking for noise cancelationBut it's probably not best for that.I still heard yard work outside.It's hard to take photos of darkness with a phone. Even if I felt like pulling out the dslr I am sure it would be slightly challenging. And let's face it I'm not going to take a photo with my dslr to upload to a computer to upload to Amazon.Just trust meThese work well.

These curtains work wonderfully at blocking the light, and the material feels like it's a very high quality. We initially ordered light beige blackout curtains from Deconovo, but the quality was not great and they weren't the best at blocking out the light (probably a combination of the light color and the quality of the materials). These navy blue curtains are definitely perfect for what we needed and I'm grateful that they don't look or feel like motel/hospital decor

Me encantaron súper económicas muy delgadas no pesan ni estorban y si bloquean la luz. Si son black outs! Solo tengo que subir un poquito el cortinero para que bloquee aún más.

Excelente cortinas, son delgadas pero cumplen su función de tapar la luz, si las tienes totalmente pegadas a la pared, tu habitación está completamente obscura

Las cortinas se ven de buena calidad, làstima que me las enviaron en color blanco puro, brillantes, cuando las pedí blanco opaco. Las estoy regresando, ya que no son lo que pedí.

No me encantó la tela, muy delgada y mal cocido de abajo. El color bastante bien. Por el precio no me sorprendió el producto :(

Realmente me encantaron, bloquean totalmente la luz de mi habitación, viene el par de cortinas & son de la medida que pedí, solo vienen un poco arrugadas pero se entienden pero en general excelente.
