Fiery princess of wine + snarky SEAL = fireworks
I always like a good fake marriage trope and this one is done really well. The sparks between the MCs are a great way to offset their vulnerabilities. Tessa Bailey really does a great job writing strong men who are also insecure in their own ways and August is no different! The story is fast paced and I enjoyed understanding each character in greater depth including Natalie’s mom who makes quite an impression. Overall a great read and the perfect follow up to Secretly Yours!!

Tessa Bailey is the mother of steamy romcoms.
This book reminds me of the time when life was all about simping for a Tessa Bailey man. August Cates is the best book man I've read about. The steam? Physically had to fan myself to lessen the temperature of the room.August Cates has won me over with his charm and humor and his big caring heart. That being said, Natalie Vos his wifey, has to be protected at ALL COSTS.I just believe that Tessa Bailey is the Picasso of smut scenes.Their romance was CRAZY. And the steam. scenes, IMPOSSIBLE. At least by human standards. August Cates has taken over my life completely. This book has changed me.• God Bless Her for the Epilogue because my poor heart needed that glimpse into the future.I loved this book and I believe everyone else will too.

Lovely book
Being an all-time romance fan, reading this book was like having a creamy dessert after a tiring day. This beautiful book, with enough forced proximity and a convenient marriage, is my first book by this author, and I'm totally into it.I love the character development; at the beginning, Natalie was a rich brat, but her character development was worth reading. The book's design is beautiful, especially the illustrations at the beginning of each chapter.I love how stubborn and romantic August is.I could have called August my new book boyfriend, but the s*x parts... I couldn't find myself fitting into them. At times, they were too corny, but that didn't bother my reading. This book is a great combination of romance, spice, fun, tears, and family drama. If you are a fan of Enemies to Lovers, pick this book up ASAP.Now I'm excited to read the author's first book, "Secretly Yours."Overall, a great read. Highly recommended for all romance lovers.

Tessa Bailey is back in the game!
Unfortunately Yours by Tessa Bailey, the second book in "A Vine Mess", August Cates & Natalia Vos are officially me favorite duo, I think the things which were missing in the first book 'Secretly Yours' in the series by Tessa Bailey are officially very well executed in this one.I never thought I would love the "Marriage of Convenience" troupe so much but this one was such a great journey to be a part of. With banter we could not forget to super juicy smut, Tessa Bailey is back in the game with this one. I missed these two things in the previous book and was very well compensated in this one.I loved both the characters as well, at no point did I found either of them to be annoying or to much. I think each one of them fitted very perfectly like a puzzle piece meant for each other. The communication between the two was on point. Alsooo, to mention the amount of times August has said the word "T*ts" in this is just insane 😅 but well I enjoyed the book overall, so that can be neglected.

Loved this book so much!
This is the story about Natalie Vos who is a heiress from Napa who has recently lost her job and fiance. Now she is back in her hometown and is wallowing in cabernet to swallow her pain. All she wants is her trust fund so that she can start her new business but the terms says that she has to be married to receive the fund. Then there’s August Cates who owns a vineyard but he doesn’t know anything about wine making but he is determined to make his late best friend proud. But his wine sucks and his friend’s legacy is drowning and no bank will give him a loan to turn the business around. The solution to their problems? Of course to get into a fake marriage so that they can get the funds and have their dreams come true… except they hate each other and cannot stop bickering and wanting each other.Okay I do not personally like enemies-to-lover and marriage of convenience tropes separately but when combined together… Oh my god! I absolutely loved this book!I loved their banter so so much and how they roasted each other, despite obviously wanting each other. It was so good to see them fall for one another gradually but still maintaining a facade of they didn’t like one another.I also liked both the main characters. Natalie was a confident woman whom I admired and I loved how August worshipped her and supported her. And the chemistry between them was off the charts! Oh and there’s also a cat!Overall, I absolutely loved this book! It’s one of my new favorite romances! I seriously cannot recommend this book enough!

Witty!!
Buckle up because "Unfortunately Yours" by Tessa Bailey is like a rollercoaster of sass, steam, and surprise. Natalie Vos is like the poster child for bad luck – lost her job and her fiancé. Ouch. So, she's back home but, she's got plans to get back on track, and that trust fund of hers is the only ticket. Here, enter the August Cates, the hunky vineyard owner who's got his own set of issues but, Natalie's got an idea – a fake marriage.Natalie and August are like fire and ice – their chemistry's hotter than a summer day, and they argue like they're auditioning for a reality show. Seriously, their banter is on fire. And it's not all sunshine and roses. The writing style is so so good it's like Tessa Bailey is your best friend who's telling you a juicy story. The plot is like you are on emotional rollercoaster, and i went like "Oh-my-god-did-they-just-do-that?". And the supporting characters – they're like the cherry on top. The ending is like a grand finale like k-drama with a bonus epilogue that'll leave you swooning.

Laugh out loud and superior witty banter- blush-worthy!
This was the most fun book I have read in awhile.I love vulnerability in my main characters and while August was a rough around the edges and tough ex-Navy SEAL, and Natalie clearly projected sharp edges and no nonsense, they both had such deep emotions and hopes and sadness they were carrying with them. Once they allowed themselves to show that to each other it was beautiful. Particularly August just seemed to KNOW what Natalie needed out of him as a partner. It was so sweet. If you have never read a Tessa Bailey book before just know that her steamy scenes and dirty talk should be the industry standard. Wow. These two characters nearly set my book on fire.I just felt like this was the first book in awhile where everything clicked for me. The character development, the dialogue, setting, plot…it was all just wonderful. It’s hard to believe that I really did NOT like the first book in this series (you can totally read this one as a standalone).

Tessa’s best book to date
🍇🍷𝒜𝑅𝒞 𝑅𝑒𝓋𝒾𝑒𝓌🍷🍇𝑼𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔By: @tessabaileyisanauthor⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Stars𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞:💜Marriage of Convenience💜Enemies to Lovers💜Constant Banter💜Laugh Out Loud Moments💜He Falls FirstWhen I buddy read Secretly Yours, I was instantly attracted to Natalie and her dry sense of humor. Seeing her and August interact in the first book was hilarious and once I knew she had her own book coming I was practically salivating waiting for it!Cut to my new favorite book by Tessa Bailey! This is a masterpiece. Like, no joke. I was reading it in the airport and could not stop myself from laughing out loud like a hyena and people thought I was deranged. After Secretly Yours, Natalie and August are “enemies” in that they can’t stop from throwing insults and jabs at one another every time they see each other. Underneath this facade, they’re both so attracted to one another and get off on getting the other riled up. When Natalie learns she can’t access her trust fund she needs to start her own finance startup unless she is married, insert ex-Navy Seal, August Cates. August can’t get a bank loan to save his friends winery dream, but with Natalie, a winery heiress, as his wife and partner, he just might be able to try to salvage his god-awful winery. The banter, the humor, the jokes! It was perfection! The absolutely hilarious one liners got me every time. Underneath all the humor though, August and Natalie are two people hardened by life on the outside but marshmallows on the inside. Their relationship works so well partly because they both can be brutally honest with each other and that they have an extreme sense of loyalty. It also helps that August is a literal Sex God 🤷🏼♀️ It was so beautiful to watch them drop their guards and fully dive into their “sham marriage”.Thank you @avonbooks & @netgalley for this eARC and thank you @tessabaileyisanauthor & Avon Books for this early physical copy!🍇ᴜɴꜰᴏʀᴛᴜɴᴀᴛᴇʟʏ ʏᴏᴜʀꜱ ʀᴇʟᴇᴀꜱᴇꜱ ᴊᴜɴᴇ 6ᴛʜ!🍇Old review:This might be my new favorite book by Tessa! I fell in love with Natalie in Secretly Yours and was so excited that she would have her own book! I also love that I had read the first book which gave me the background information that sets this book up to be so perfect. The banter, the humor, the jokes! I was constantly laughing at this book! Like out loud. In public. It was perfection! The absolutely hilarious one liners got me every time. August and Natalie are just two hilariously snarky people and it made reading so much fun.I love that this is an enemies to lovers story with a marriage of convenience aspect. Just like Tessa said in her readers note, it only works if he’s been obsessed with her from the start. And my god, August LOVED Natalie from the very beginning. I love the constant correction these two went through in order to stop using jabs as a defense mechanism in order to let the other person in. It was so real and just showed how these two had such great chemistry and their willingness to be what the other needed.I could go on and on, and I just might another time. But this was perfect. No notes. Just buy it!

deutlicher besser als Buch 1
Was in Buch 1 an Magie und Spice gefehlt hat, hat Tessa Bailey in Buch zwei wieder gefunden. Hat viel Spaß gemacht, es zu lesen.

I want to read more of her brilliant books
Tessa Bailey writes excellent spice! Her characters make me laugh, and there is little in this book not to like. The fake dating trope, or rather fake marriage trope, was in full force on this one. The banter was spot on, and so was the burn. But one of the things that sticks out in this book is how much the bad boy shows adoration for his love interest from early on. Tessa has a unique style, and although this is only my second of her books, her writer voice is perfectly formed, and I just want to read more of her brilliant books.
