Dahle A4 Professional Trimmer 360mm Cutting Length/ 2mm Cutting Capacity - Blue

I paid 141.30 for this, and I see it has gone down to 119 just a couple of days after I purchased it!! So I'm VERY unhappy about that...The trimmer is heavy and very sturdy. It seems to cut well, but obviously I need to practice trimming accurately, as every trimmer is slightly different.I need to find out if/where I can obtain replacement blades also.I will update once I have had more time to play!

This is absolutely brilliant and has been life changing for me as I suffer from very sore wrists to the point where I can’t use scissors any more. I pack a lot of parcels and this cuts everything I need very easily, from tissue paper to labels, to my business cards. The only downsides are that it is quite large and takes up half my table, but I wouldn’t part with it! Also occasionally the line cuts a bit wobbly, but that could be down to my own restrictions in holding the guide. I did a lot of research and this came out top and even though it’s not cheap it has been a good investment.

This cutter does the job. I was cutting pre-glued vinyl (stick on the floor and walk on grade). Does what you would expect. Good guts for a good cut, and stays on the line with the hold-down that is built in.The perspex hold-down can make it hard to see the exact cut line - until you have practiced a bit.The graduations do as expected and allow small trims with no trouble

I am and artist and use a large sized canvas paper. Trimming the edges of the completed work is so easy with this, and saves a lot of time. The blade cuts in both directions, more efficient and time saving. Its relatively light to move around and it doesn't take up too much room

Cuts clean, unlike other trimmers that give a bumpy curve edge. More papers at one go too. Unfortunately someone at the office went backwards, and the plastic rule got a line cutting on its surface - ho hum, wish I was there to witness to know how that happened! We have this mounted now on the wall for storage when not in use.Dahle confirms to replace the blade you'll have to purchase the whole head.This costs about 4 times more expensive than our previous trimmer, so I really hope it lasts well into several years.

Unfortunately, mine did not arrive with a 'sturdy metal table' as promised, but I was very quickly offered a refund or replacement. The actual trimmer is excellent; very smooth and accurate trimming, and feels like a sturdy and solid product - no corners have been cut, so to speak, with the build quality. I've used trimmer previously which have become flimsy and inaccurate with use, but this seems durable. I particularly like the attention to detail and little extras, like a magnetic hold to fasten paper to the metal trimmer base, and the inclusion of holes, which can be covered with flaps, or bolted to a table. Great quality, would definitely recommend.

This is the second of this model I have bought and, whilst it has a fantastic cutting action, the guiding lines on the surface lift off very quickly. With my first one, the lines had totally disappeared within 7 months of buying it. It was replaced about two months ago and again, the white guiding lines are showing signs of breaking down and they will probably also be gone quite soon. For the work that I do, I really need these guiding lines, so will probably not have another one.

Awesome product !!! I have had several paper trimmers all rubbish , having to press down hard to get them to cut and trying to keep the card stock level at the same time was a nightmare ,but this one is absolutely wonderful , perfect for my card making ! Perfect crisp cut every time, no need to put any pressure on while cutting and the card stock is held down so it doesn't move while cutting. I no it's quite expensive but so worth the money and a 5 yr warranty and self sharpening blade who could ask for more. Highly recommend this product.
