Dawn Chorus: A Sound Portrait of a British Woodland at Sunrise

Lovely birdsong, good quality sound. Lovely to hear, a good recording.

Walking through a pre dawn wood and hearing the dawn chorus welling up out of the inky silence is something I never tire of, so this disc is 72 minutes of pure joy; the sound is clear and atmospheric with good stereo imagery - and no interruptions! - just the job in these uncertain times.

This CD is lovely and very therapeutic to listen to.The case was broken on arrival which was surprising as the box it was delivered in was intact.

We have moved on to a new estate and there are no birds around and I miss them singing so I bought this CD. It is great and I enjoy hearing the birdsong and play it quite often. I am looking forward to the local birds finding my garden.

We loved the calming influence of this CD. The birdsong took you immediately into a the garden.We played It during the reflective moment at my mother in law’s funeral, she was a nature lover.It was beautiful.

Originally bought for my mum who is in the final stages of dementia and having palliative care. Perfect. They say hearing is the last sense to go and this is joyous. Like it so much have put on my own i pod.Would like to find another one with goat / sheep / cow bells in the mountains.

Lovely to listen to when relaxing or practising yoga/meditating. I appreciate the CD is second-hand, but the case was in a bad state when it arrived, it literally fell apart in my hands and the "teeth" which hold the CD in place were all broken. I don't know if it was despatched in this condition or if the damage was done en route. The CD itself is fine.

I bought this for my mom and she absolutely loves it. She likes to listen to it while she paints. I've heard it and sometimes forget it's a CD - sounds like birds got in the house!
