SDA Professional Reducible Inguinal Abdominal Hernia Relief with 2 Removable Pads - Hernia belt - MEDIUM (89 - 104 cm)

I have a 'Right Side' Hernia and therefore ordered 'a Right Side' Truss.In my opinion (and I'm the person who would be wearing it) what is advertised as a 'Right' should be a 'Left' and vise versaWhy I'm saying this is because the 'Pressure Pad' has a straight side and a curved side.As my Hernia is well into the Groin directly next to the 'Privates'!!!!!!!!!!!!.....it makes sense that the curved side should sit around the contour of the 'Privates' area. I have worn the Truss (and therefore cannot return it!!!!).....but with the curved side more or less on the Leg and straight side next to the 'Privates'...it slips away from the affected area, which can then become painful after a couple of hours. If this sounds confusing and if I'm the only one thinking this then so be it. However, I can understand that for me the Truss would work very well using a Left instead of a Right.....Perhaps I might reorder at 'my loss' and see if I'm correct!!!!!!.....I've discounted what the picture of the item shows........to be continued!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Before buying the implement,I couldn't even stand and shave without severe pain in my stomach. Then I remembered the old newspaper adverts from years ago when trusses were really in vogue. So thought I might as well try a truss whilst waiting for NHS to give a date for the repair operation. Whilst using the truss I have been able to paint all my garden fences, paint my very large shed, walk my grandchildren round the block, drive to Brighton and back. In fact I have been able to lead an almost normal life. It is now referred to as " my TRUSTY friend". At double the price it would have been worth every penny. Easy to use.I cannot praise it enough. very well designed and good quality, which helped me everyday to reduce the pain.if the front part can be narrower, it would be better. currently it uses a tie to make it narrow, but very hard.I really like this product.

worked very well. but only use as stop gap whilst awaiting surgery . this is not not in place of surgery
