Desert Essence Lip Rescue tea tree, 0.15 oz

I have had burning lips and thrush in my mouth for a month.....As I understand it this is a fungus. Tea tree oil is an antifungal. After using this on my lips for 2 days (several times a day) the burning is gone.!!!

I would recommend this. It reminds me of the solid tea tree oil cream which turns to liquid after putting on which is by same company. It gives relief right away. I will probably continue to use this. UPDATE; After using this for quite some time I have found it still has a drying affect. I guess it is the tea tree oil as it can be drying. It still feels good when I put it on though. Don't they all! I a still looking for the perfect lip balm for New Mexico's dry climate

This Chapstick was recommended as a way to heal lips and prevent cold sores. I kept getting either little cold sores or some kind of rash on my lips this spring. I don't know if it's allergies or what. I thought I'd give it a try. It seemed to help but you need to know that it has the most disgusting smell. It made me shudder every time I put it on. It has a very creamy texture but smells like minty dirt! If you think you can handle the smell, this product will be great for you.

For years I'd used Aquaphor for my super dry and cracked lips, but switched to this after finding it keeps my lips hydrated and supple for longer. It also seems to improve my idiopathic angular cheilitis.

Hate chapped lips. Love desert essence brand. The tea tree is a treat.

I learned about using chapstick with tea tree oils because they help prevent cold sores. And I am a person who has gotten them since I was a little girl. Since using Lip Rescue I have not had a single one! One thing I would like to get next time I order this product is one that is a different scent since I'm not a huge fan of eucalyptus scents, but other than that it's great!

for me it had a terrible scent/flavor, i stopped using it quickly as my lips were just getting worse using it. Maybe it will work for someone else.

fantastic product for anyone who suffers with chapped lips or coldsore. Lanolin free, fragrance free, flavour free, love the taste of tea tree, this is the only lipsalve I can use. gave one to a friend who also loves it.

This is an excellent product to use in preventing cold sore outbreaks in early stages as well as in minimizing the length of cold sore outbreaks.

This product is excellent, my daughter has been using it for 12 years.The company are discontinuing it so she has bought up as much as she can find.

Description This is good product have used before but description on Amazon as follows. "Desert Essence Lip Rescue Therapeutic with Tea Tree Oil - 0.15 oz - Case of 24" Only received one tube not case of 24 this is very deceiving
