Gas Mask Survival Nuclear and Chemical, Respirator with Filters for Asbestos, Fume, Resin, Painting and Dust

This gas mask based on the Chinese MF11 standard issue has mask is a great gas mask for the price. I see many reviews talking about it having a poor seal, but you need to tighten it quite a bit and make sure you don't have too much hair/facial hair in the way. The rubber is good quality and durable, especially around the seems and edges. For safety if you're trying to get a gas mask to protect you from the environment this will work fine, but you should probably get a higher quality filter. There's nothing particular wrong with this filter, but if you're looking for personal safety you may want to invest more money. The one downside I have with this product is that the nose bridge seal puts uncomfortable pressure on the nose of Caucasian wearers, for a Chinese market this may not be as much of an issue. This mask has no problem with fogging, if it ends up fogging slightly when exhaling it will defog quickly and clearly when you inhale.Overall a good product that I would recommend.

So we're going to use it for a pretty intensive painting job where a lot of chemicals are going to be in the air that are not good to breathe. So first test put on the mask had some Taco Bell threw a blanket over my head and just yelled out like Goku as I power dumped out the gnarliest fart into my own Dutch oven. Didn't smell a thing. Took the mask off and thought I was going to die.So day of the job comes, worked perfectly. Basically you got to get used to putting it on getting it fit right and having the right kind of filtration canister that's going to be your most important part if you don't get the right kind it's not going to work, so know what job you're doing and make sure you have the right one. It's a 40 mm fitting, which is pretty much the universal standardized size.

Way bigger than it looks. Good mask though

Hacer Ajustes

I make my own hot sauce from peppers I grow. Was suffering when I used my Carolina reapers last time, so I ordered this. Just finished a batch of hot sauce. This respirator worked great with the included filters. I could smell the pepper but no eye nose or mouth irritation. Great fit. Comfortable to wear for several hours while I cooked the sauce. My head is small, so might not fit larger heads. It is adjustable very easily. Easy to put filters on.

The mask worked fine for me, tearing out fibreglas insulation and keeping it out of my eyes was why I got this. Instead of the filters that come with it I used certified 3M filters N100. The clear faceshield stayed fog free despite conditions. All full face masks need to be adjusted to not leak, just put your palms over the inlet/filter tight enough to block air and try inhaling, if it leaks you'll know and keep adjusting until comfortable and sealed. Won't work with beards... no rocket science figuring that out.... and the brain surgeon says some faces might not have the average shape it takes.. I'll use the filters that came with it for nuisance dust.

I couldn't smell anything from a vape, cigarette or a fire when wearing this with the provide filter. It is important to note that the filter is only rated for "Organic vapors". if you plan on sanding or exploring places where there could be mold or dust in the air than you will need to purchase another properly rated filter.
