Very Good heater
Easy to operate, good heat output, black looks very smart, and not too heavy. Fan of the Dimplex brand.

Good heater but limited warranty
It's a good heater but be aware; the product description says there's a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer but this isn't true, there's only 1 year warranty from the manufacturer

Simple but effective
Very neat model, easy to clean the dust out so no scorched dust smell. Seen from above the fins are slightly wonky in alignment, but perfectly functional. Good paint finish, very light grey, almost white. The castors have a mind of their own on hard floors, but light enough to just pick up and move around.Like most oil filled radiators, the power output is limited more by the surface area of the fins rather than the heating element, so on the highest setting 3 (the 2kW heating element,) expect the oil temperature limit thermostat to reduce the heat output well below that. However, it seems capable of about 1kW continuous heat output. Perhaps in very cold ambient conditions it might be able of 2kW continuous heat output.Measured electrical inputs: Setting 3, 2.15kW; Setting 2: 1.08kW; Setting 1: 0.97kW. Manual states 2kW/1kW/0.9kW, so i guess these elements are rated as such for 230V rather than the 240V we have in the UK. Settings 1 and 2 are almost identical, seems a bit pointless; not sure why they didn't just use two settings (2kW & 1kW).The cable is 1.5m long, but only 3G 1.0mm^2, so not ideal for continuous loads of 2kW, although technically still allowed. Seems to be a white rubbery elastomer rather than PVC cable, probably more heat resistant. The temperature control is typically inaccurate as is the case with almost all of these type of radiators (high hysteresis and poor repeatability); an inevitable result of having the ambient temperature thermostat pretty much sitting inside the heater, and the control knob directly mounted on the thermostat rather than flexibly coupled to allow for mechanical stress relief. For more accurate control I use an external thermostatically controlled socket (a good quality German one, not the generic Chinese variety), even though the manual advises against that.

Brilliant heater
I loved the fact it heats the room very quickly, is quiet.

Efficient
Setting up difficult as bottom control to low down and not able to read easily. Might have been better if able to read and set up settings from the top. Light’s don’t go off and on when cutting on and off so had to watch smart meter to get a general idea. These heaters have been around for years thatywhy I chose it.

Economical heating
Easy to set up .Very controllable as can set several periods for this to come on & turn off .Manoeuvrable & compact.Would recommend we have three of these now .

Must use in well-insulated rooms
Easy to assemble. Instructions state to not use as a primary heat source and use in a well-insulated room and they aren't joking. We have it in a workshed and it's great on its own, until temps get in the negative Celsius. Then the wood stove needs lighting. No frost setting works well.Bought to replace an earlier model which would heat much warmer, however, would recommend, as long as you understand it's limitations.
