TapouT Adult Mouthguard

the first mouthpiece i put in (followed directions) was kinds deformed.. but moulded to my mouth.. one problem.. it melted over the breathing hole in the mouth piece. this is the only reason i got this mouth piece so i can breath easier.. moulded well though doesn't fall out. be careful boiling these... sometimes its hit or miss. if its a minor boiling error you can reboil after they cool for a while. also. ive taken hits the the face/jaw... to let you guys know its gonna hurt just the same just your teeth aren't gonna fall out. boxing/mma

Have been using these for a few months now... The mouthpiece only has a little ridge for protection your lower teeth. For what it's worth, I think it's sufficient but it still worries me a bit. This is sort of the sacrifice you make in order to have a mouthpiece that isn't gigantic (in which case it's harder to talk with it in your mouth).Pros- Great price for a set of 2 ($12.99 with free shipping on prime accounts)- Fits well and feels secure- Allows you to breath easily and talk while trainingCons- I find the dual colors a bit silly, but It looks like you don't have much of an option.I previously used shock doctor mouth pieces and I think these are just as good, if not better quality.

I just started boxing this year. I've been through a couple of mouthpieces already, even some expensive ones, none seem to ever fit right. I was kind of skeptical about buying this mouthpiece because of the cheap price. Well this mouthpiece works better than all the other ones i purchased. The mouthpiece molds easily when you boil it, fits perfect on my teeth. I can talk with it in my mouth, and it still stays seated perfectly on my top row of teeth. I haven't had a chance to have a full sparring session with this mouthpiece yet, but it seems like it will do the job. Oh, and they send you two. Perfect, simple, cheap, and it works.

I thought the product was ok but the instructional manual could be improved. Using this actually involves quite a few steps (like you have to put it in hot water for awhile before the product is flexible enough to put in your mouth) but many of these steps were not clear and I sort of had to figure it out on my own. I think for those who buy these very often and know how to use it, then everything is fine but new people like myself really need clear directions which this product really lacks.

This is a quality mouthguard and it comes with two. It took me around 4 or 5 boils to get it right it is very thick probably better for sparring then grappling. But for 15 bucks and you get two of them you can't go wrong ..

I used these for football and I play defensive end. Its a really physical and tough position with alot of hits. When I got them I loved the color and feeling; the easy to read instructions made fitting it easy! Once I was done fitting it, it felt like a glove. No more losing my moth piece on big hits for me. I could breath sooooo well since the mothgaurd is fitted to the top of your mouth it stays up there. I would recommend this to everyone no matter what sport you play its a must have!!!

These were extremely difficult to mold. After reading directions and watching their online videos, the first one never fit and was so warped by multiple reboils (which it claims it can handle) it was no longer useful. The second one was a little easier, amd while it is secure in my mouth, it doesn't feel snug.They are comfortable, despite the inability for me to close my mouth (small mouth) and I can talk mostly clearly, as advertised.

My 13 yr. old daughter plays alot of school and club sports. She has tried others and this is her preferred mouth guard. Bought it from Amazon because they have her school colors! She forms them herself in a small pot on the stove and has no problem with that - she says it is a bit hot to stick in your mouth since you do that right after boiling it, but she does it... don't overboil, best to do less, you can always stick it back it the pot... that's what she does.

Horrible mouth guard. First of all it is a pain to fit in your mouth. Very thick and bulky. I felt like I was gagging because the piece was so thick. When you finally do get it molded a bit to fit to your mouth, you will notice the logo is slowly coming off. My mouth guard was also split in the middle and made a weird edge from where the two pieces joined. When taking punches this became a painful spot to be hit as the jutting edge would stick into your lip. Both mine ended up in the garbage. If you want a killer mouth guard go for the Venum mouth guards. They are the bomb!

I use this for sparring in kickboxing and it works fine. Moulds easily to your mouth shape (I am a woman but I assume that it would fit men and women). Only slight drawback is that it won't fit in the case now I have moulded it (but maybe I just have a strange mouth shape!!!)

Just OK, do not offer adequate protection for real fight, OK for training

Easy to fit took less than 2 mins to boil and bite perfect for breathing during my sparring sessions I love these and if I need another mouth guard again I will be ordering these again
