Simple to use
I like this programmer, it is the second one I have bought over the years and glad that it is still available.It is not the cheapest one out there but it is fairly simple to install, reliable and easy to understand and use.No problems.

So far so good.
We got this unit to replace an old Randal 3060 unit whose timer had stopped working. We had the wiring diagrams for both units, and we carefully worked out where the different wires went. Once that was out of the way, the rest went smoothly, and the unit has been working well since then, which is a month now. We find the physical slider switches so much easier to use than having to press a couple of buttons repeatedly for the various functions. So far so good.

Done the job perfectly. Easy to fit. Only complaint was price. Quite expensive for a small part.

Good, solid, very easy to use.
I used this on a like for like replacement. Older unit was over 20 years old.Very easy, just 2 clips to release then it pops off.

Far too expensive
Cant see how this trader can be selling this for 400.00. Im a professional heating engineer and buy these for around 120.00 if customer needs direct replacement.

my system was 25 years old!!!! before it packed in and I didn't think I would find a suitable switch for the wall but this was perfect. it fitted the hole perfect, was exactly the right make and fit and works brilliant plus it looked very smart. would highly recommend

It works fine, but not enough control over heating vs. hot water
Bought this as a replacement for the same unit which had burned out (I suspect following a number of power cuts in the area).Very easy to install as a replacement, you just clip it in to place. No wiring if you are replacing the same unit. 30 seconds work!Why not 5 stars? Well, if I wasn’t replacing an exact same unit, I wouldn’t choose this one.This is because you can’t have different On and Off times for your water and heating. So, for example, if you set your heating to come on at 5pm and go off at 10pm, but only want hot water on from 6pm to 7pm. Not possible with this unit.Seems a bit antiquated to me...I would instead purchase a unit with two separate on and off clocks.

Perfect replacement for a failing one in my home
I got this to replace an existing Honeywell ST699 central heating programmer and it was a very easy job. Just disconnect the existing one from the bracket and plug this new one in. Now the heating does not randomly cut out.It was evident that i needed a replacement when looking at the old one due to there being visible scorch marks on the PCB board which was likely the cause of our issues.
