This is a heavy duty strap and it works very well I have a 22 ft Tidewater very heavy boat and it will latch the boat and pull it up without breaking

a little longer than I needed, but does the job quite well.

Item as described! Very strong and thick strap holds my boat in place perfectly and fits perfectly on my spindle.

This better boat winch strap has a big hook on it. The hook is almost 3 inches wide and is touching the side metal plates that’s holding the center 3 inch bow roller. If your boat is not centered on this roller, it will scrape the metal plates. Just like to mention that the 3 inch center bow roller is not really 3 inch (Advertised 3 Inch). The hook and strap on this better boat winch strap looks solid, but only the test of time would we really know. I placed quarter inch nylon bushings on each sides of the bow roller so it won’t touch the metal side plates. This way, it will eliminate the hook scraping the metal plates. Just like to mention another thing, If you have a bow roller that is less than 3 inches don’t use this Better Boat Winch Strap. The Boat on the picture is a 2018 Duckworth Navigator Sport, HT-ET. One last thing to mention is, if you look closely on the picture, the strap is coming out from the bottom of the winch and your cranking, this winch counterclockwise rather than clockwise. I did it this way because this hook is so thick it’s going to touch the center roller when it’s mounted coming out from the top of the winch. I gave this better Boat winch strap five stars because it looks rigid compared to other manufacturers.
