MLC EYEWEAR Vintage 80's Retro Classic Horn Rimmed Unisex Sunglasses

This is a great price for these sunglasses and exactly what I wanted. I've worn this same style for many years and was a bit shaken that they were called ''80's style.'' I'm considered retro now-oh well. Glad I found them and there was a surprise included. Thanks!

I am by no means a sunglasses enthusiast, so take this review with a grain of salt.These arrived today and they seem like high quality lenses for the price. The plastic frame appears somewhat sturdy, but I haven't worn them in the field, so check other reviews for better details on that. The metal hinges don't snap to the fully open/closed positions, but they do make it more difficult to accidentally open/close the arms. The left lens on mine can be shifted in its place a very small amount, but I didn't notice it until I attempted to move the lenses. I don't foresee this affecting my use of it. Yes, both lenses are polarized.There is no branding or text on the outside of the arms, the frame, or anywhere on the lenses. +1. There is a small bit of text that reads "MLC Eyewear MLC-PWayMTBK-BK China" on the inside of the right arm. It's written in very small font and is not very noticeable. It's also printed on rather than a plastic indent/outdent, so you can't feel it rub against your face when you put the glasses on.I like the matte finish of these glasses, it's exactly what I was looking for. Not sure how chip-resistant it is, check other reviews.Surprisingly, mine came with a small carrying bag that feels similar to microfiber cloth (it probably isn't though). Nonetheless, it can be used to clean the lenses from everyday smudges. The carrying bag is camo with a black and white MLC Eyewear logo. It's a nice feeling bag, but I probably won't use it in public because of the way it looks. Not really a downside though since I didn't even expect to receive a carrying bag.For the price, it's really hard to justify not going with these unless you don't like the style, you tend to rough up your sunglasses and want a metal pair, or you want brand-name sunglasses for 10x the price.

I’ve been buying these glasses for a few years now. I always lose my sunglasses. I keep a pair of name brand glasses in my car, but take these with me when I go out somewhere. I can go fishing, tubing, hiking, etc. with these. When I inevitably lose them, I don’t feel too bad.These offer the same protection and perform the same as sunglasses that cost 10x to 12x as much. They hold up really well despite feeling like they’re not as sturdy. I’ve never had a pair break on me. I always seem to misplace them before they reach the end of their useful life.I’m going to continue to purchase these for as long as they are available.Great product! I’d recommend them to anyone who likes the style!

We love these sunglasses! They give just the right amount of protection in the sunlight. Not too dark so that when you walk inside you’re not suddenly in the complete darkness. We’ve been wearing them for years. They do eventually get scratched up because they aren’t the absolute best quality but they do hold up quite well for the price. And because of the price we don’t mind replacing them.

I've been buying MLC sunglasses for years, as they seemed to be about the best quality you could find at a price point that wouldn't break your heart when you lost or sat on them. They weren't available for a while and now they're back in a clunkier form. Frames are fatter and lenses are darker. I think they know they're selling a lesser product since they included a 'gift' of a second, even cheaper quality, pair of sunglasses to make you feel better about paying more than before. I assume that they're having some supply chain problems and, who knows, maybe they'll get better again, but I'll be shopping around.

I love these sunglasses. The shape is very flattering, they are very dark and very cute.

I have purchased these same sunglasses in the same color for the past several years and this last one I purchased in June 2023 was not as good they actually became loose after using a few times, they slip off my face. My husband still has the same pair I purchased last year and the tint is also a slight lighter on his. I really do love these sunglasses but not this last pair that I purchased ÷(

Best cheap sunglasses ever! Have bought multiple times, they have great lenses and fit well!!
