If you're looking for a beautiful, great feeling/gripping, leather case for your iPhone X, I highly recommend this one. I went with the Blue one and it's exactly as pictured and is gorgeous. Even comes in a neat folding wood looking box. The design is slim and doesn't add any bulk to the phone. The leather feels great and I'm sure will feel even better and have that aged patina feel over time. I also like the machined metal of the case buttons over the Power and Volume buttons. That gives it an extra classy touch over some of the other leather cases. And the price is fantastic for this high quality product in my opinion. I read one viewer mentioning a squeaky sound on the right side and I did hear that initially when I squeezed it with some pressure at first. But after squeezing it with some pressure several times, it's pretty much gone now. It just needed to be "broken in" I guess. Anyway hope this review is helpful. I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to since this product well exceeded my expectations.

Update: Have to hand it to the company's customer service. Within a day of posting about receiving a sadly broken case, they arranged to replace it. The new case arrived in perfect shape, fits like a glove, and like the original has a great color to it. Looking forward to seeing what this looks like with a nice patina after some use! I'm still a little concerned that the case feels like it might eventually crack if you take it off/put it on often, but that's the trade-off with thin cases, and for the price I'm prepared to accept it. Would absolutely recommend this case, especially given the seller's prompt response and willingness to replace the original, no questions asked.Original post: Ordered this case looking for a decently priced alternative to Apple's leather case for my iPhone X, and was arrived when I opened it this evening. I'd love to give this a better review--the leather is nice and I think it holds up pretty well to Apple's case based on appearance and feel--but it arrived broken. The presumably plastic body beneath the leather was cracked around the hole for the ringer/silent switch. At first I thought it was just a loose fit in that corner, but on closer inspection I can feel the break. The fact that it arrived like this is concerning, and I'm not sure what kind of mileage someone would get out of this case. Again, the feel is quite nice, but if it's that briddle I have to wonder if it would last having the phone removed more than a few times.

I have used Apple leather cases for years. I recently got a new iphone XS and was disappointed in Apple's leather case because it was too "slippery". Previous Apple cases had just the right about of tackiness that I wanted. Not too sticky, just a little bit.I ordered this case and have used it for just a few days but I am very pleased with it so far. The feel is great, just what I was looking for. The fit is good. Some comments have mentioned the camera hole cut out, the case I received fit well but the camera hole was very slightly off center (just a tiny bit). This in no way affects the overall fit or the camera function. I would recommend this case and would purchase it again in the future. I cannot comment on durability but will update post if there are any problems.Update August 2019After using this case for 4 months, I continue to be very happy. I keep phone in my pocket and mostly protected but it has help up very well. No signs of wear at all. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low cost substitute for apples leather caseUpdate March 2022I have now used this case for nearly 3 years and it is time to get another one. It has protected my iphone Xs perfectly. I did drop it on the corner recently and the phone was fine, but the case split open on that corner and is peeling away. I came back to this site to see if they were still offered and I am pleased to see that they are. I will be ordering another. As mentioned, I keep my phone in my pocket and it remains pretty well protected, but to get three years out of a leather case is very good in my opinion (other than the drop I mentioned, the case is really not showing many signs of wear at all). I highly recommend this case.

I bought this for my iPhone X. It fits nicely, and looks really good. I have no complaints about the appearance or fit. The color I got (brown) is fantastic. The metal button inserts work well and look nice.My problem with it is that I find it to be too slippery. I seriously have a hard time even picking it up. My skin tends to be very dry which makes the problem much worse, and not just for this product. I drop everything these days. It's one of those 'middle-age' issues you face...I'm going to apply some saddle soap a couple times to see if it will soften up and give a little more grip. If that doesn't work, maybe some leather golf grip product...

This is a beautiful, high quality leather case that competes (and may even be better) than Apple's leather cases.Overall, the leather is a beautiful color and seems to be made very quality. I have currently been using it for about a month now, and have no issues. Obviously the leather can get scratched through every day use, but it actually makes it look better - sort of a patina.The side buttons are great looking against the leather. Only issue was they were a bit "sticky" or tough to press at first, but have since lightened up and work just fine. Very pleased with this case.I never plan to drop my phone off a rooftop so I cannot comment on the protection, but as far as setting it on a desk or carrying in your pocket, or even a fall getting out of a car it seems to do just fine.

This case is a nice mix of quality and price. It's as advertised in terms of look, leather quality, thinness, gives relatively good protection and the buttons work well. The issue is with durability - the leather began separating from the case at the top in less than a year, as you can see in the photo. i contacted the seller but didn't get around to it until a week or so after my year was up, so replacement not honored. if it weren't for the durability I'd buy again.
