Love my OtterBox to protect my phone since I tend to be clutsy at times. Have dropped my phone several times and I am always thankful to have such a sturdy case to protect it. The case is easy to take off if needed for cleaning and it's easy to put it in and take it out of my pants pocket.

These protectors are the best. This one replaces a two year old one that did crack on a drop (after hundreds). I have used these on my iPhones since the first one and have never had so much as a scratch on a phone. My very first iPhone was saved after I foolishly laid it on the car roof while loading the car. As these are rubber on the back, the phone did not slide off the roof and into freeway traffic after I forgot it was there and took off. I realized I didn’t have it, took the next exit and there it was! I don’t recommend trying this but just more evidence that this little box is far superior to paying for insurance. Up to this one, I have bought new ones only when getting a new phone that didn’t fit. Nearly was able to use the case from my 6S on the new SE, as they are the same size, but the flash light is positioned differently and the old case covered it. All in all, a great product!! Highly recommend!

Excellent protection. I like that it is bulky, since the ipad is well protected against dust and falls.

I like this case, but I would consider myself pretty picky when it comes to phone cases. Here are a few of my complaints: 1) The plastic covering over the home button will easily be torn or dented by long fingernails. I would find myself hitting the home button with my fingernail and then my thumbprint to unlock my phone and eventually it got so many little dings in it that I had to just rip that part off. The main screen-covering plastic was fine and protects the screen from scratches, but obviously the thumbprint cover is much more flimsy to allow for thumbprint recognition. Once it gets a few scratches, your phone won't be able to pick up the fingerprint through it. You might find yourself ripping that part off too. But if that does not bother you, then it's not that big of a problem. 2) The plastic covering over the apple symbol on the back of the case can accidentally become dislodged from the case if you push too hard on it. Now it just sits in the back of the case and jiggles around. It is actually kind of fun to just move it around, but can be annoying if you want something to cover the entire back of your phone and keep the scratches off the apple logo. 3) It is somewhat of a bulky case and will take up some room in any bag or coat pocket. It is not waterproof so if that is something you're looking for, don't buy this one. Other than those three things, it is a pretty durable case. The colors are nice and the materials seem pretty ready for some light wear and tear. I would probably choose a different case for my next phone.

A while back, after trying to be cool by going bare and breaking my iPhone, I’ve had PTSD and always gone with max protection, which has been Otterbox Defender series. I dropped it everywhere, with no issues. Great, great protection. I don’t even flinch when my phone drops. I know it will be ok in an Otterbox. Only issue was that it’s a bit big. So when I got a new phone, I looked EVERYWHERE for a case that was sleeker but as rugged as the Otterbox. Couldn’t find any as reliably rugged, so I just went with the Otterbox, and to my pleasant surprise, they’ve added minor changes to sleek up this model, making it thinner and much smoother and easier to handle, yet still feels every bit as rugged. I got the Black version, and am a little bit too in love with it. Looks amazing on a blacked out iPhone. Now, it’s still a big case, but if you want big protection but in a slightly slimmer model, this is a great one and happy I got it.

Got this case for the new iphone 8 our son got for his birthday. He can be hard on electronics (like most kids) and we needed something near bulletproof so OtterBox it was. I have seen other OtterBox products in the past and they all seem to be built the same (like a tank). If you are looking for something slim or low profile you should move along but if you are looking for something that will protect your device from nearly anything and leave it looking like new then this case is for you. 5 months of use and many hours of Fortnite and other games played and his phone looks like new and doesn't have a scratch. OtterBox never disappoints. For me I just don't love using anything over my touch screen so that part of the case always my least favorite but the protection is worth it for us and my son really doesn't mind at all and has never complained about the size of the case or screen protector. Great product if you need the most protection - not cheap but a lot cheaper than a new phone and with an OtterBox on your phone you always feel safe.

I purchased this case for my son in the spring of 2022. One day while working in the garage, he set his phone down on the roof of my SUV and forgot about it. Later the same day, I drove my SUV *on the freeway* to another city. My son, after looking everywhere he could think of, told my husband that he couldn't find his phone. After some brainstorming, they realized that the phone was probably on the roof of my vehicle when I left. Out of hope, my husband tracked the phone using Find My iPhone. He saw the location as stationary on a freeway north of our home, so he hopped in his car, drove along the freeway using Find My iPhone, and tracked the phone down until he found it on the side of the freeway INTACT. The case was scuffed - that's it! The screen wasn't cracked, the phone was fully functioning, and the case was still in great shape. WHAT?! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen the phone and case myself. So yeah, I'll be an Otterbox customer for life.

Una pasada de funda. A mí se me habían roto cuatro cristales templados en el periodo de 2 meses y con esta el móvil está perfecto. Eso sí es un poco gordito, pero quizás x eso se me cae menos. Estoy feliz porque la perfección es perfecta q es lo q buscaba. Le llamo mi pequeño transformer. Súper contenta!!

Nice iPhone SE second generation case! This is my third Otter Box Defender case I’ve owned over the years for my iPhones and this is a nice updated version compared to the ones for the iPhone 4 and 5. The outer case is firmer and has a nicer more modern feel than the older cases. It was quite the challenge to open it at first though because the outer case is tucked into the edges of the hard inner case and it doesn’t stretch as easily like the older Otter Box Defender cases did. But once I figure it out it was relatively easy to do. The outer case on the older versions was more like a rubber stretched loose over time but this one seems like that issue may be resolved because of how it tucks into the edges of the inner case and because of the firmer rubber. Time will tell! Also, the product description said it doesn’t come with a screen cover but it did! feels like it will protect the phone from drops! It feels great in my hand and has good grip! I don’t mind that it’s a thicker case compared to other cases on the market! I bought the Stormy Peaks colour and it’s more of a purple and the green green in the front is more of a grey green. It’s quite nice! I highly recommend the Otter Box Defender case!
