Nimitz 2nd HDD SSD Hard Drive Caddy for Lenovo Thinkpad T400 T400s T410 T410s T420s T430s T500 W500

I was amazed to find that this was delivered from China in little over a week. Extremely well packaged and complete with mounting screws and a screwdriver.It fitted perfectly and was instantly recognised by my Thinkpad T410 running PCLinuxOS. There is a blue LED that is on all of the time (so not that helpful) but as it cannot really be seen on the side of the lapto, the fact that a LED is included is of little importance.With a 500GB SSD in the caddy and another SSD for the PCLinuxOS this laptop is transformed and is really fast.Sincere thanks to Amazon for providing us with such excellent products so speedily delivered.No hesitation in 5 stars

Very well made and the shade of black plastic is a near perfect match for the Lenovo.. your additional hard drive slots in to the Nimitz caddy and is well secured by four tiny screws then you remove the optical drive and swap it for the caddy . Its also hot swappable where I can ejected the caddy without shutting down Windows..... just like a USB flash drive perhaps you access to the cd/dvd drive at the same time . Having the extra hard drive capacity has certainly given my Lenovo laptop a new lease of life where I am now able to run both Windows 7 and Windows 10 from the same laptop.

Great device, very good quality and functioning. Bought for my Lenovo T430S, it fits properly and the 4 screws keep the HDD tighly still.

Endlich habe ich auf meinem Laptop genug Speicherkapazität. Das Teil ist ja so was von easy. In 2 Minuten war eine neue Festplatte in meinen PC. Da freue ich mich über mein ThinkPad, es passt haargenau und ist nur zu empfehlen. Danke
