The magnet is not strong.
I would not recommend this bag for a motorcycle, due to the magnet just cannot hold anything on the tank.

Compact and easy to use
I really like this tank bag it's easy to use I can put all my small items into it including my cell phone. Attaches firmly to tank of motorcycle.

great bag for a trip
The bag is great and it doesn't leak in a light rain. It's good for holding things but a phone/nav can be hard to read through the window. The magnets really hold the bag in place, but moving it out of the way to gas up the bike is easy.
