This is a pretty decent set. It was our first time trying this type of trimmer, so I don't have anything else to compare it to, but this is easy to use, it cuts well, and comes with what you need. I would suggest it to others as well.

I am very new at rug tufting so please keep that in mind when reading my review.I am pleased with this. It's easy to use, and as someone who truly tries hard to be organized but struggles with it, I love the case. I thought it'd require a bigger price point to have a case to contain a rug trimmer. So I'm very pleased. As a beginner, I also appreciate how easy this is to use. I was nervous about it and actually considered trimming my rug by hand with scissors, but I'm happy I tried this and had such an easy time with it. I can't compare this to any other type of rug trimmer, as this is the first one I've had, but I can say I really like it.

This trimmer is great. Came with everything you need to clean up a tufted carpet. The guide is the critical part of this set and what turns the trimmer from generic into a tufting trimmer.

This kit is exactly what I was looking for. I am new to tufting so I was looking for a shearing set. The fact that it has a case makes it even better since I can store it when not in use.

This carpet trimmer works great, although one thing that I want to do is put the guide with the stand and use both at the same time.
