I replaced the pad I had under my rug. The rug used to shift and the pad shredded. This new pad keeps rug in place and husband doesn't trip over rug edge of rug like he used too. I would not describe as a thick pad.

I am using it under a glass chair mat on carpet, and the made slides at a much much lesser rate, however it still slides to the left.This is great I bought the 60"x84" because I needed 42" x 48", so I plenty left over for shelf paper tool box liner etc.The checkered pattern is weird, when you cut it measure, I went by the checkered squares it it was not square, the pattern isn't perfectly symmetrical, minor issue, I just tried to have the same amount of squares on each edge.Not a deal breaker by any means and I do recommend this product. did not stop the movement of the glass chair mat. It’s just too heavy I think so. It always slides left because that’s the way I turn my desk chair so I remove it.

I AM ORDERING A SECOND RUG GRIPPER FOR ANOTHER ROOM, AS I LOVE HOW IT HOLDS MY RUG IN PLACE. NO MORE STRAIGHTENING A SLIPPERY RUG THAT IS ALWAYS MOVING.

Edit: My earlier review was hidden by something called a 'Sensitivity Filter', perhaps because I said I felt there was no reason to pay for more expensive options. I stand by that.Bought 9x12 for an 8x11.5 rug. It was easy to trim, laid out flat with no creases, provides cushion and is holding the rug in place on hardwood. Great value.

Based upon the item description, should have added a little ‘cushion’ to my area rug but, it did not. Description states ‘extra thick’ however, it is not. Will be returning this area mat/pad

Though I wish it came in a smaller size, it's great. I cut it into 24x24 inch squares and attached it to the seats of my patio sectional with zip ties to keep the cushions from sliding. Works like a charm. Was easy to cut and doesn't tare easily.Would recommend

what a waste of my money, it says for rugs over carpet NOT SO. it does not work my rug on the carpet keeps on sliding. it is only good for hard floors. if I had not cut to fit under my rug, I would have send-it back. not good at all, very disappointed.
